[edit]I need to cite references to my edited changes. I cannot figure out how to do it. I do not understand these terms: hyperlink or URL. These are the refences I want to cite: Progress Association Minutes 26 June 1920, original held at District Council of Coober Pedy
Letter 8th July 1920 from A W White, Inspector, to Deputy Postmaster, Copy held in Coober Pedy Historical Society Archive PS 00016

- @Ix57ta23: I have seen your edit at Coober Pedy, you have removed citations and added info about its etymology. To add your new references press the cite button above (or) press Ctrl+Shift+K if you are using a PC and then add your link there then insert it. That's it! It's simple as it is. See WP:REF for more info. :@Ix57ta23: I forgot to sign.Siddartha897 (talk) 12:47, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- Ix57ta23 Unpublished content (Association minutes, a letter in an Archive) cannot be used as references. Wikipedia requires published sources. Those do not have to be available online, but the source needs to be described. For example, if newspaper, the name of paper, date, page number. David notMD (talk) 16:32, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
