Information icon Hello, I'm Logical Cowboy. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Broccoli, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. SPAN

[edit]

Definition removed from wikipedia itself: Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages, especially advertising, indiscriminately. While the most widely recognized form of spam is e-mail spam, the term is applied to similar abuses in other media. [my bolding]

I can't see how adding external references to related page can be a SPAN. Anyway, what do you understand by external reference? Did you read the external reference? Can you tell me that Growing Sprouting Broccoli Cabbage is not about broccoli????. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.54.48.6 (talk) 15:41, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:ELNO point 11. This is not an external reference by a recognized authority--it's a personal blog. I'm sure you have a great blog, but it is not a good idea to link to it from all over Wikipedia. Logical Cowboy (talk) 15:55, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, not an extrenal reference anymore. Hope its ok now. Itapaje (talk) 23:36, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
