Could you explain why you removed the review on Rammstein's latest album - http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Liebe_ist_f%C3%BCr_alle_da - from Chicks With Guns magazine? - Neuronphaser —Preceding unsigned comment added by Neuronphaser (talkcontribs) 16:24, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

what good has this lousy administrator ever done? let's hope his retirement is a long and happy one! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.40.77.216 (talk) 23:05, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What?!?

[edit]

You've retired? :( This bites. You've been an awesome administrator here. -WarthogDemon 03:35, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, what's going on? Why are you leaving? GlassCobra 20:29, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
contextflexed is outing users. He claims I mean to bring the heat to Wikipedia as a whole, specifically the top of Wikipedia, give it a fever, what have you, until it burns out the IrishGuy infection. So, if he has any integrity, my retirement should stop his harassment/investigation of other users. IrishGuy talk 20:38, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Having read his rant, I don't see much likelihood of that. But, oh well, thanks for your help and enjoy whatever project you work on next! --GentlemanGhost (talk) 01:35, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm with the Ghost on this. The dastard has put all of Wikipedia in his sights; your retirement hampers us and does nobody any good. Please reconsider! --Orange Mike | Talk 14:49, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The investigation is not going to stop, and you would do well to reinstate my account and apologize to myself and the myriad users you have abused. If you have any questions as to who these users are, I can provide you with a list of them. You should also out yourself, as I will be offering a $50. reward to the first timestamped outer of your identity, which will then be circulated to your victims so that your actions may be ridiculed on their respective websites. A description of this unfortunate series of events is also to appear in a print magazine to be circulated in Milwaukee, with an emphasis on OrangeMike's misuse of Wikipedia, his horrific clothing, and his horrible fanzine. ----Contextflexed — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.148.20.9 (talkcontribs) 00:18, April 18, 2008
I'm terribly saddened to see you leave Irishguy. You were a very good administrator and I hope that in the future, that you will return in force. Thanks for your work, seicer | talk | contribs 01:14, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We've got your back and support. All decent admins will protect you, and we have an army of Lolcats at our disposal. I hope to see you back soon. Bearian (talk) 16:56, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Irishguy,
Apparently Contextflexed is the one who should stay out. My real name is Mats Halldin and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. Give me a list of these contributors and from now on I will commit myself to revert everything added by these crackpots. (my e-mail is matshalldin@gmail.com)
/ Raven in Orbit (talk) 17:05, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Now, that's not fair, Mats/Raven! These people are not necessarily to blame because contextflexed is "supporting" them! Let's be better people than that. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:09, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You are probably right. Actually, I've no idea who they are. I assume Irishguy will know who to hang out. :P
/ Raven in Orbit (talk) 17:12, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently it worked, I immediately got a dozen e-mails from various sites.
Contextflexed,
What do you hope to achieve with all this?
Sweden
/ Raven in Orbit (talk) 18:33, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would be overjoyed if you started reverting everything in the world ever posted to Wikicult by everyone you would like to shun. It would be your own Red Chinese purge / data loss. I have already achieved what I hope to achieve, that is to live on my own terms. Wikicult would like everyone to conform to consensus / collectivist terms while certain Asperger Apparatchiks walk over the other users. It started out that way from the very beginning when WP generated its first troll while squabbling over the Wagner entry. All I have done is notify you strange people, that I won't be told what to do, and that you will pay a completely legal, completely inconvenient price (my continued benign and good faith presence, and the outing of your more craven users)for having the hubris to be cyberbullies. ----contextflexed —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.197.54.243 (talkcontribs) 17:32, 22 April 2008
LOL, how come you gave up after only adding me to a dozen spam sites? Do you have a dick at all? You're a jerk and only that. Grow up!

I'm sorry to say I just found out about your retirement today, based on your removal from the members' list of WP:FILMS. It seems you had to leave under unfortunate circumstances, but I would like to thank you for all of your dedicated work to WP:FILMS and Wikipedia in general. I appreciate your efforts and hope that all goes well for you in the future. Thanks again, and best wishes. --Nehrams2020 (talk) 04:32, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Jerry the Tank Engine, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Jerry the Tank Engine is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Jerry the Tank Engine, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. FA Nomination; Kevin Youkilis

[edit]

Hi. I've nominated Kevin Youkilis to be a Featured Article. Since you may have interest, you may wish to contribute your view as to whether it should be a FA. Also, I think we may have some work to do on the in-line citations ... perhaps you may want to help with those as well? The discussion of the FA comment process can be found at [1], and the page that you can go in through to leave comments is the article's talk page at [2]. Many thanks.--Epeefleche (talk) 08:48, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Conway Hall Article in 2007/8

[edit]

I am posting this item in hopes that you see it sometime altho I note that you have retired. I want to recreate the Conway Hall article but I am not clear why it was deleted. I never saw the old article. Was it too short? It appears to have been deleted twice - the second time for contravening copyright. I'd really like to get some info on this as I don't want my version deleted. The final log is at [[3]] redherring (talk) 15:35, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Andrew Gower

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Andrew Gower. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Andrew Gower (4th nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Irishguy! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 253 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Suspension of admin privileges due to inactivity

[edit]

Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative privileges of users who have been inactive for one year, meaning administrators who have made neither any edits nor any logged actions in over one year. As a result of this discussion, your administrative privileges have been removed pending your return. If you wish to have these privileges reinstated, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Notice of change

[edit]

Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that you will not longer be able to request restoration of the tools because of your prior inactivity. You have until December 30, 2012 to request restoration or else the policy will prevent you from doing so in the future; you would need to seek a new WP:RFA. Until December 30, you can file a request at WP:BN for review by the crats. Thank you. MBisanz talk 04:22, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
