Citing your own research
[edit]Hello Irad Ben-Gal, Wikipedia is not a venue to popularize your own research and publications, especially not with tangential "examples" or other secondary additions like the one at Bayesian network. See WP:CITESPAM and WP:SELFCITE for more information. If you believe that these sources can add anything of substantial value to the articles, you should suggest them at the article talkpages. When in doubt, let other uninvolved editors decide such additions. Please read also WP:COI, Wikipedia's guideline for editors with a "conflict of interest". Thank you for your consideration. - Please note how that suggestion for an unblock request asks you to fill in the blank for your IP address. If you don't supply that and any additional information, no one can help.
- Sometimes you can can be caught in a block because of something your internet provider does, supposing it to be to your benefit, but to Wikipedia it looks like a VPN or anonymizing service. Sometimes the problem goes away if you just get your ISP to assign an IP address from a different range. But these are all hypothetical. To get actual help, you need to provide more information about the block you ran into. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 08:40, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
