Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Altan (band), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Donegal. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:16, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to The New World (2005 film), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Please be advised that "box-office bomb" is considered contentious phrasing. As such, please do not use that language or link to the article on that topic without providing a source that describes the film thusly. DonIago (talk) 17:28, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"box-office bomb" and "box-office failure" are synonyms! See the box-office bomb article! Indianawick (talk) 22:02, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Then perhaps it's best to avoid either one, if you feel that way. DonIago (talk) 03:57, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm HapHaxion. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to .fm have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 16:53, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. One of your recent contributions to AC/DC has been reverted or removed, because it contains speculative or unconfirmed information about a future event. Please only add material about future events if it is verifiable, based on a reliable source. I've had to remove your edit regarding Cliff Williams not joining the band for the upcoming tour, as it is speculative. Unless there are multiple sources or the band says something regarding if he is going on tour with them or not, it shouldn't be added. Thanks. Information icon Hello, I'm Trailblazer101. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Trailblazer101 (talk) 00:12, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Licks Tour, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bitch.

Gross

[edit]

Thank you for updating the box office gross[1] it is good see an editor that remembers to update the article body when changing box office gross figures. On this occasion though you missed the lead section so I updated that too to match your edits. Thank you. -- 109.77.195.4 (talk) 15:01, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Your recent undiscussed unilateral move of a BLP in counter to our guidelines on MOS:GENDERID

[edit]

Hello, I would like to let you know that your recent unilateral move of a WP:BLP in a contentious topic area is counter to our policies and guidelines of MOS:GENDERID. Please also note that you should avoid to WP:MISGENDER people and address them by their latest self-reported identity and pronouns. A request to revert your undiscussed move has been file at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. Thanks for your consideration. Raladic (talk) 04:46, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Raladic. I noticed that you changed the personal pronouns of an individual in the article Rahim Redcar. Wikipedia refers to all people, including transgender and nonbinary people, by the pronouns they have most recently requested for themselves; this applies to all phases of their lives, unless they have requested otherwise. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. . Raladic (talk) 06:42, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Near?

[edit]

Please read MOS:LARGENUM. Please round numbers in the normal way. Please do not use qualifiers such as "about" or near. Many editors fail to follow the reasonable guidelines but that is not a good reason for you to repeat their mistakes too.[2] -- 109.78.196.89 (talk) 02:17, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Budget range

[edit]

I would appreciate your feedback Talk:Gladiator_II#Consensus_on_the_budget especially why you think the lower figure of $210 million should be excluded from the Infobox despite Template:Infobox film warning against cherry picking budget figures. Please reply on the article talk page. -- 109.78.199.177 (talk) 18:04, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
