Irrelevance of the Tornado in Tappahannock

[edit]

I do not believe adding the tornado to our Wiki page is necessary. The event caused no fatalities and did not result in significant property damage. It would be impractical to document every minor tornado on every town’s page, and including this one for Tappahannock seems both unnecessary and inappropriate. TappahannockTimeTraveler (talk) 21:25, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@TappahannockTimeTraveler, I disagree that the tornado was "minor" or that it is unnecessary to include in the article. The tornado damaged at least 30 buildings in and near the town, completely destroying ~15 ([1], [2]), including a 145-year-old church ([3]). The community was clearly quite impacted by the tornado ([4]). (Pinging @Meters) Imconfused3456 22:45, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Imconfused3456. Furthermore, this is a content dispute and should be discussed on the article talk page, not here. And it shouldn't be hidden inside of another thread on the article's talk page. I will move it to a new thread and reply there. Meters (talk) 00:03, 2 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
