- Hello, Yes, I recently placed a link on the Tartan Wikipedia page, as I noticed there were other external links present. My intention was to contribute to the platform and enhance the available information. However, I now realize that my actions might not have been entirely appropriate, and for that, I apologize.
- I am actively involved in the world of tartans, with a collection of over 1400 unique designs, and I frequently write blogs on this subject. Given my expertise in this field, I would like to inquire about the criteria for adding relevant links to Wikipedia pages. Could you kindly provide some guidance on the appropriate process and standards for doing so?

- So, here's how relevant links works.
- If the site's primary purpose is sales, the answer is absolutely not, never, unless its an article about a notable website ,such as Amazon.com, the answer is never add them.
- If its a news website or otherwise a information on the subject that can support something, usually, yes.
- If its an academic (.edu) with more information about the subject, the answer is yes, but its better placed in a ref.
- If you have knowledge about the topic and would like to share knowledge and improve articles by expanding articles with non-promotional, relevant and reliable sources (they don't have to be in english, by the way), you can add them as references. (see MOS:REFERENCES)
