Formal Mediation for Sports Logos
[edit]As a contributor to Wikipedia_talk:Non-free_content/RFC_on_use_of_sports_team_logos/Archive_1, I have included you in a request for formal mediation regarding the subject at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Use of Sports Logos. With your input and agreement to work through mediation, I hope we can achieve a lasting solution. — BQZip01 — talk 06:34, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm sorry, which "policy" am I going against? If you genuinely believe that the "logos and uniform" section is acceptable, you clearly do not understand the intentions of the non-free content criteria. Having a section devoted entirely to showing off non-free content is not acceptable. As for the infobox logo- says who? If it's so strongly associated with the football team when it actually represents the faculty, discuss it in the article. J Milburn (talk) 09:10, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- You are going against the image policy--I think you knew that, though, haha. The logo isn't really discussed in the "faculty" article, either, but you think it is ok to use there. It is the logo of the football team, whether you like it or not. Sorry. Hogvillian (talk) 03:43, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
