- Sorry, but I reverted your changes. For instance, the statements about what these amps were known as are phrased in a way not deemed acceptable here (see WP:WEASEL), the information you added is not verified by reliable sources (for instance, there isn't a single reliable source to be found for the Gunsmoke statement, and there is too much redundant (or repetitive) information. An IP followed your edits, and I reverted that too--they contained unverified praise, in phrases like "to reduce unit costs without unduly compromising performance." Please have a look at WP:V, one of the essential guidelines for Wikipedia articles. In my revision of the article, I have used every reliable source I could find, in Google Books, Google News, and the archives of Guitar Player. - I am done trying to write the Peavey Bandit article for now. Yes, it needs a lot more work, but the references you seek aren't there. I did find a Guitar World article that said the Peavey Bandit was introduced in 1971. While that suits all of the Wikipedia criteria you listed, unfortunately it's incorrect information. I'm not sure why you think Peavey manuals cannot be used as a reference to describe features. It seems that you are holding this Peavey Bandit article to a higher standard than other similar guitar amplifier articles on Wikipedia. GuitarNerd1369 (talk) 14:31, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
