This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of US Bank Plaza (Sacramento), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=usbankplaza-sacramento-ca-usa. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of US Bank Plaza (Sacramento)

[edit]
A tag has been placed on US Bank Plaza (Sacramento) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. KSPX

[edit]

The day that the construction permit received its first callsign is NOT the sign-on date. KSPX (then using callsign KCMY) signed on for the first time on August 27, 1990 according to all reliable sources I know of. Please do NOT revert this in the future. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Ktxl sacramento.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ktxl sacramento.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:49, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:KOAT.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:KOAT.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Uncia (talk) 18:53, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thanks for improving the fair-use rationale for File:KOAT.jpg (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs). There are still some additional bits of information needed to make it complete, specifically the exact source (URL) of the image. I wasn't able to locate this exact image on the KOAT web site, although it does have several similar images. Also, it is helpful to everyone if you format the information using Template:Logo fur. It gives all the needed fields and explains what goes in them. Hope you can provide the needed data. Thanks! --Uncia (talk) 13:28, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved this to your userspace, here User:Griffin5\Sac tv Template, i'm assuming that that was what you originally intended to do with it. If not, let me know. Also, i have tagged User:Griffin5/Xenu for speedy deletion since you requested it, if you want to delete anything else in your userspace, use {{db-userreq}}.--Jac16888 (talk) 16:41, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your picture of SVA #121

[edit]

Hello Griffin5,

Thanks for adding your pictures of SVA/SACRT TDH4512 #121 to the GM "old-look" transit bus page; I've only seen this particular bus a handful of times and was never able to get a good picture of it. Over the years I've heard a rumor that this bus had been sold to Unitrans sometime in the 70's or early 80's and was given the fleet number 4506, before being sold back to SAC RT at some point perhaps in the late 80's. Do you happen to know if there is any truth to this?

Thanks, Spicoli (talk) 07:16, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Central Valley

[edit]

Hi there, I've just joined the California Wikiproject. I'm dropping you a note because I notice you're interested in the Valley. I am interested in working with a group of editors to improve the Central Valley's Wikipedia presence. For example, the Central Valley (California) article is assessed "top importance" but has the lowest possible quality rating. It's ripe for re-thinking. If you're willing to help with ideas or writing, then by all means drop by the project talk page: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_California. Thanks! ferretstew (talk) 09:24, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:651016-KXTV News 1965.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:651016-KXTV News 1965.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:02, 28 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILYsock(TALK) 04:02, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the Fox logo from this userpage because it does not meet our fair use guidelines for use of the logo. Thank you. Nate (chatter) 04:37, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:KTVU 2 logo.PNG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on KXTV. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection.
