Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Edits implemented – previous account?
thank you for reporting the false positive; I have implemented the requested change on your behalf.
May I curiously ask if you have edited using a different account before?
Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:13, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks. Why do you ask?. Givingbacktosociety (talk) 00:53, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
- I wonder because adding reference names to Wikicode and editing templates is an unusual first step. :) ~ ToBeFree (talk) 04:32, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- I think I'd also like an answer. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 20:57, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
- I had an account before but I have not actively used it (less than 10 contributions). Givingbacktosociety (talk) 00:45, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Talk:2019–20 coronavirus pandemic by country and territory, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:04, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Important Notice
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

- Does all the articles relating to India need Extended confirmation? I think 2020_coronavirus_pandemic_in_India do not need it. Givingbacktosociety (talk) 00:50, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
General sanctions alert
Please carefully read this information:
A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The specific details of these sanctions are described here.

STOP
Let me make this abundantly clear. You have opened up enough discussions about the graph. You are now WP:FORUMSHOPPING. If you open up a new discussion ANYWHERE regarding this topic, you will be blocked to all of Wikipedia. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 21:24, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
- That graph is wrong. If it is correct give an explanation. I said it is wrong and here is the explanation.
Two graphs one showing data outside a specific country and then other graph showing others are wrong. They should be a single entry as posted in the updated graph. The consensus was against using a simple graph. This is a completely different request.Givingbacktosociety (talk) 21:30, 6 April 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
I fixed a error in a graph and people keep confusing it with another different request and that I made a change againt the policy. So far no one has give a explanation.
Decline reason:
This response was like headbutting a wall because it hurt your head when you banged against it. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:01, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- To the reviewing admin, their talk page access is now removed per my warning
abovehere, which they removed. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 21:53, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
(edit conflict) decline = This request does not respond to the reason for the block, which was removed, so it is no longer immediately visible. Please feel free to make a more detailed case for being unblocked via the Unblock Ticket Request System, but you really should read the Guide to appealing blocks first. Good luck. El_C 22:04, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
- This is neither here nor there regarding the block, but I'll say this regarding the complaint: your version of the graph is not useful when compared to the original graph, for which the source of the data is given with a clear explanation of why the granularity is lacking on the earlier dates. Now drop the stick. --Kinu t/c 23:47, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
