If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page Stainless steel do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Wizard191 (talk) 16:13, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Aluminium oxide. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 11:51, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Lithium. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Materialscientist (talk) 11:51, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Rare earth element, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Materialscientist (talk) 11:54, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the warnings Materialscientist, and apologies for not stopping sooner (I saw all three messages at once). I didn't realise I had been spamming articles but I'll take note for future edits. Thanks Geologyrocksmyworld (talk) 12:48, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Nov coverkkk.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
