I noticed that you contributed to the Gulf International Bank page and was wondering if you are formally affiliated with the bank? If so, maybe we could cooperate to update this information and bring it up to date?

Kovur, Kanchipuram
I observed that you had moved Kovur, Kanchipuram district to Kovur, Kanchipuram. Now, you see, though the town of Kovur lies in Kanchipuram district, it has nothing to do with the town of Kanchipuram which is more than fifty kilometres away. I feel the conventions I had used to be better suited in this case.-RaviMy Tea Kadai 15:40, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

talkback/Dewar Committee
Hello,
I have uploaded information to the Dewar Trophy page, which had been removed by yourself, which has been authorised and approved by the Royal Automobile Club and the Dewar Technical Committee.
I have emailed Wikipedia to verify the source and permissions and have added a reference to the same effect on the page and in the talk section.
Please advise if I need to do anything else to verify this information upload, and contact me before automatically removing it.
Being new to Wikipedia I am unsure if whether there is anything further needing to be done to verify this page. Please advise rather than remove it!
Your help is appreciated, as you obvioulsy know more about Wikipedia than I, or the Royal Automobile Club do.
Yours

- I reverted the edit again. Until the OTRS office clears the text and confirms that at Talk:Dewar Trophy, Wikipedia still can't use the text. Also please refer to Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline. Writing about your own organization is frowned upon. Please also note that the article needs to use citations by reliable published sources. The version you keep trying to replace does so. • Gene93k (talk) 15:44, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
I saw you reverted the edit again. I have done the edits on the temporary page. A citation will the The Motoring Century, by Dr Pier Brendon. The information currently on the Dewar Trophy is biased and incorrect. I was also told I had to email permissions from an email address linked with the copyright holders, I have done this, so how does that mean I cannot update information from my organisation? The Club own the trophy and require the information to be factually correct. Please assist! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dewar Committee (talk • contribs) 15:52, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

I have added several references. For readability purpose I am keeping out of the reference list the published standards, which are instead linked inside the article. If the condition for keeping the article is to have these standards listed in the references I'll do so. Can you please let me know what I should do additionally to put the page in its normal status as soon as possible? Thank you in advance Pgmarchetti (talk) 17:20, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
Thank you and delsort tab question
Thank you for the delsort help at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Woodhull Sexual Freedom Alliance. I'm not sure why my "delsort" tab doesn't seem to work anymore these days, any ideas as to how to fix it? Thanks for your time, — Cirt (talk) 22:24, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

- Delsort.js stopped working for me in September. I've tried various work-arounds without success. I'm deletion sorting by hand. • Gene93k (talk) 00:26, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Why did you change the page: DDEX? Please discuss on the talk page somewhere, I don't understand why you'd do that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.55.154.115 (talk • contribs) 06:21, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
- The purpose of a disambiguation page is to distinguish between Wikipedia articles, not external links. I reverted the dab page to a redirect because it had only one Wikipedia article. Wikipedia is not a link farm. • Gene93k (talk) 16:13, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your comprehensive list of delsorts on this - I am keen to get many eyes on it. RfA?
Hi Gene, I have a quick question for you: Would you be interested in running for adminship? Given that the mood surrounding RfA is currently going through a positive swing, I think you have a pretty decent chance at passing. The main benefit of you becoming an admin would be that it would enable you to close AfD's more often (not just in cases were non-admin closures are allowed). You do some fabulous work at AfD (as I'm sure basically everyone knows). Granting you the ability to have more tools at AfD sounds like a win-win proposition to me! AutomaticStrikeout 01:11, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- Allow me to second this. We could do with more admins who are as committed to AfD as you are. Would you be interested in running? — Mr. Stradivarius on tour ♪ talk ♪ 03:08, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

- I am not after your article. Hell in a Bucket (talk · contribs) nominated it for deletion. I didn't. I listed the AfD debate on deletion sorting to alert other editors that the debate is open. Deletion sorting neither supports nor opposes deletion. • Gene93k (talk) 02:12, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
- Out of curiousity isn't that ussually automated? What happened that it didn't do that? Hell In A Bucket (talk) 04:22, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

My Edit that you changed
There were two subcategories for Olds that led to the same page and both lists of schools could be found on the Olds page itself so I thought it was pointless to have two lists for the same city when they could be combined in one list.
