A tag has been placed on My.arfie, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of My.arfie and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Yourname (talk) 22:42, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. To create an article on My.Arfie, you need to find reliable, independent sources that discuss the website (the references you included were about Dogpile, not My.Arfie) and show why the website is significant/important. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Somno (talk) 10:20, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Hydroxycut do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Speedy deletion of DoGreatGood

[edit]

A tag has been placed on DoGreatGood requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi. I noticed your comments on the article's talk page asking about its content compared with GoodSearch. While you may have followed the same layout, the main difference is the the GoodSearch article has references to independent third-party sources such as ABC News, CNN and USA Today, which is the most important thing when it comes to establishing a website's notability. On the other hand, I haven't found a single source on DoGreatGood, which is probably because the site is relatively new and yet to establish itself. For this reason, your website isn't notable enough for Wikipedia at the moment and has been deleted. If this site become more popular in the future, this article can easily be recreated, but in the meantime please see WP:WEBSITE for details regarding articles on websites. Notice

The article DoGreatGood has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable search engine that only existed for about a year.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ♟♙ (talk) 16:38, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
