Barnett
[edit]Thank you for your link! However, because this is Barnett's private page, not everyone has access to the confirming information. All Barnett needs to do is go to settings -> privacy settings -> profile, and the very last drop down box is work. If Barnett changes "only friends" to "everyone", his work profile will be public but nothing else on his account will.
However, in case the movie blows up, in case Barnett becomes a household name, or simply in case of over zealous Cyrus fans/paparazzi eager for any chance to talk to movie's stars, I think it would be wise for Barnett to create a public page, such as Miley Cyrus', for example. Otherwise, he and his facebook friends may find themselves inundated with friend requests. It is a Miley Cyrus and Nicholas Sparks movie, after all, news sources often use it, and preteens are more ingenious than one might think.
In case Barnett feels like making a public page, I'll hold off for a day or two- but if he doesn't mind, let me know. Thanks again for your help! P.S.- did your local newspaper happen to mention his casting? If so, you can add it yourself by filling in as much as possible in this template: Cite_news#Usage- it doesn't even have to be online. Carrie Malabre
[edit]Hi! Thank you for the other actors' names. I confirmed Michael Jamorski by emailing him, so I'm about to add him. I noticed Carrie Malabre has a resume online and a Facebook; do you think you or Adam Barnett could ask her to update her resume, send you an email with her role, or state her role on Facebook like Adam did? Thanks for all your work! Liquidluck (talk) 02:37, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Re Characters
[edit]I agree that Ashley is probably interested in Will, but I haven't found a source to back it up. (I hope it isn't true though, because that would be incredibly cliché.) I took "clique" off the casting call, where it says Cassie is part of Ashley's clique. Maybe their clique is just another term for the popular group that also includes Will, or the other girls in the group are simply unimportant. Hallock Beals, who plays Scott, told an interviewer that Scott tries to create trouble, so that much is true. (Here's the quote he gave and link to the video: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/The_Last_Song_(film)#cite_note-18 ) Maybe Ashley and Scott team up, but that seems even more cliché. Ah well. Let me know if you find any concrete info on any of this! Liquidluck (talk) 23:25, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Adam Barnett color.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Adam Barnett color.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Morning Sunshine (talk) 13:55, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
