Greetings, thanks, and IMDb.
Thanks for stopping to read and correct that movie's article. It is gratifying to see that *someone* cares about a pilot/TV movie that has gotten so little love that nobody cared to release it on VHS, DVD, or streaming, considering that the very same Brandon Lee stars in it.
Regarding the vocabulary, it wasn't a mistake, it was totally intentional. For one, I wanted to know if someone read the article, and cared about it (you did!) and also because, when two unarmed guys defeat a bunch of evildoers with guns (including an Uzi!) that's nothing less than epic. But well, this is Wikipedia. (Sigh).
And regarding IMDb, okay, it's unnecessary to link to it when the actor's name appears in the credits. However, if you read the Wikipedia article about it, the beginning of the article you linked with about reliable sources, and the status of IMDb, you'll see that it can be used for several things, and also, most importantly, that consensus can change. IMDb isn't listed as deprecated or blacklisted. Considering that the main issue against it is its condition of "user-generated," said from the point of view of another collaborative effort like Wikipedia is, sounds funny to me. Many people think Wikipedia is totally unreliable because "anyone can edit it." Who can say that the actors I listed as the cast in that pilot were actually there? Only IMDb is a source for those kinds of things when the movie isn't easily available to be watched.
Well. Thank you very much. We'll continue when IMDb changes its status. Maykiwi (talk) 21:56, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- In my beginning on Wikipedia I was a massive rule breaker. I changed my attitude toward this. However, they are users who go too far with this in my opinion because they mainly want to be by the book but their approach is really impolite. When that happens, you have to lookout for the truth and the BS. I'll spare you the details of who, but be by the the book or these silly editors will go after you.Filmman3000 (talk) 04:51, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
