Articles for deletion nomination of The Prodigal Trilogy
I have nominated The Prodigal Trilogy, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Prodigal Trilogy. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

RE: Christian Zionist Film Categorization
Seeing as the only films in the category are the Left Behind trilogy and The Omega Code films, it is overcategorization, and as you stated, possible violation of NPOV. Unless another reasoning is given, I support removing the category from the pages. :) God bless, American Eagle (talk) 23:34, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

- Hi Erik, thanks for the note! I've been thinking about starting a project for Christian films and the Christian film movement (which includes film schools, f
estivals, companies, films, etc.). However, that might better be covered by a WikiProject:Film task force. Is there a task force for that subject already? If not, I'd be willing to start one up. -- Filmcom (talk) 15:45, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hello, it is possible for you to start a task force, but it helps to find other editors with whom you can work. I think in the past, at least three editors are ideal. Also, you may want to clarify your proposal... do you want to focus on films intended for Christian audiences or on films whose subject matter is Christianity? (The linked category seems to categorize the latter grouping.) —Erik (talk • contrib) 17:55, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Good good... I have one person wanting to help already, possibly some others. The focus of the task force would be for films intended for Christian audiences (which would include films whose subject matter is Christianity, but in a much broader sense). When I have a few more editors to help, where would be the best place to start creating the task force? Should I become a member of WikiProject:Film first? Thanks for your help! Filmcom (talk) 22:17, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

re: Your Message
Hi Filmcom, I've left a response to your message on my talk page -- Marek.69 talk 00:55, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks much! I'm going to see if I can figure out where the problem is coming from... I'm thinking it may be my browser. Filmcom (talk) 00:57, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- It's no problem! Did it get resolved? :) — neuro(talk)(review) 10:15, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Neuro, in short, the problem is not resolved yet... I'm using the secure https wikipedia in the meantime, as we deduced that the problem was only occurring on the normal http connection. Hopefully the problem's cause can be traced and fixed though! Filmcom (talk) 12:18, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Filmcom, please see reply/request in user talk:Chzz#Mysterious Editing Problems. (When conv's get split over multiple pages, it gets confusing and makes my brains hurt!)
- Neuro, I'll keep poking at this one, and I'll definitely let you, Sparkla, OverlordQ et al. know the outcome.
- Chzz: saw it, and have replied. I'll keep that discussion over there to avoid confusion. =) Filmcom (talk) 15:23, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

RE: Christian Film Task Force
Yes! I have been wanting for one to be created (as there are many such articles) for a long time, and I had actually proposed the creation of one at Wikipedia:WikiProject Media franchises/Task forces/Proposals, which went nowhere. If one was created, I'd join and help in a heartbeat. TheAE talk/sign 16:53, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Great! Can I add your username to the list on my user page? Filmcom (talk) 17:00, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Done (I added myself :) I may know of some others who are interested... we'll see. :) TheAE talk/sign 17:09, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! I was actually going to ask if you knew of anyone else who could be interested... =) Filmcom (talk) 21:27, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Spelling
Hi Filmcom,
It's good to see someone correcting spellings, but I noticed that you changed "reorganisation" to "reorganization". Please try not to "correct" perfectly good British/Commwealth English spellings. Wikipedia policy is that all dialects of English are equally acceptable.
Thanks very much, and good luck in the editing.
Stephen Turner (Talk) 20:31, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Hi! Okay, I didn't realize that that was the British spelling. It didn't come up as being correct in the program I used, so I'll try to keep that in mind for future refrence. Thanks for pointing that out! Filmcom 20:36, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- No problem! Just for information, in general all -ize words are spelled -ise in British English. As I say, it's good to see someone who cares about spelling! Stephen Turner (Talk) 21:58, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the pointers, Stephen (I guess I can call you that?). :-) Filmcom 22:20, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- It's my name! Stephen Turner (Talk) 22:25, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
LOL, I guess it's just that some people prefer to call me "Film" and some prefer "Filmcom". I don't care what they use, as long as I know who they're talking to. :—) By the way, do you know if there is a special page that tells when a new user is added? I just joined the welcome committee, so I want to be able to welcome newcomers. I find that it's kinda difficult using the new user log to see if there are new users. Could youpoint me in the right direction? Filmcom 22:31, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- The only one I know of is Special:Log (and select "User creation" from the drop-down). Stephen Turner (Talk) 22:43, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the help! Oh yeah, is it acceptable to start a new user's talk page for them when they haven't started it themselves yet? Filmcom 22:45, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I think it's normal when welcoming them. Stephen Turner (Talk) 22:52, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Ok, thanks again, Stephen. I'm still learning alot around here, so you've been a big help! Filmcom 22:56, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
