Hi! This is my talk page, feel free to drop me a message. To experienced editors: feel free to stalk my talk page and reply to any threads here.To admins: I prefer that my talk page remain unprotected, even if it's being vandalized. Such edits do not particularly bother me and I prefer to remain accessible to anyone who would like to reach me. However, if the volume of vandalism is so high that no other solution would stop disruption, I don't mind if my talk page is semi-protected for a day or two. Hopefully, this is a rare occurrence.

Why doesn't everyone refer to it as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day? When you look him up on here it doesn't say doctor. I think including that he had a philosophy doctorate is a great educational resource in order to teach children that not everyone with a doctorate is a medical professional. @MissUnderstoodPain thanks for the question. We usually don't use titles like doctor in articles per MOS:DOCTOR -- we don't do this for medical professionals either, to be clear. This isn't meant to disrespect people who hold degrees. Our article does explain how he got the degree in Martin Luther King Jr. § Religious education. Hi. The Wikipedia article about Usha Vance contains minor and related (and noncontroversial) errors. At one spot, the article says that she was "raised in an upper-middle-class suburb." A second spot says, "She was raised in San Diego's upper-middle-class Rancho Peñasquitos suburb." I assume that it's true that she grew up in Rancho Penasquitos: her high school, Mount Carmel, is in Rancho Penasquitos. But Rancho Penasquitos is NOT a suburb. It is a COMMUNITY within the City of San Diego. https://www.sandiego.gov/citycouncil/cd5/communities/ranchopenasquitos. It is certainly upper-middle-class, and at about 20 miles from downtown San Diego has a suburban feel.

@Robertrbarn hi! In general, this is the sort of thing you should raise on the article's talk page if you're not confident in changing it yourself (in this case, that would be at Talk:Usha Vance). In this case, "suburb" might be referring to the character of the area rather than municipal lines, but I've changed the wording to "neighborhood" to hopefully make it clearer that it's in the same municipality. Hello, I have a question that can be answered by a checkuser, I'm asking you because I found your name in the recently active checkusers list but in case you haven't got time I can ask another checksuer. I've read that a user can register and use just 1 account, if a user creates more there's a violation of the rules and the other accounts may be considered sockpuppets and, in case, blocked. So, I've noticed a certain username which is most of the time sleeping and is active solely to make a specific kind of edits in certain periods. I find this a bit strange, I think that it's possible that such a username is a sockpuppet of another account which is normally used unless when the user needs to make that specific kind of edits that he does't want to be related to his main account. My question is the following: should this be the case, is the original user doing something against the rules (so that he might deserve a check to find a relation between 2 or more accounts) or is he acting legally? Hello! If the accounts only edit in unrelated areas, that likely is allowed per WP:GOODSOCK (see point 2: privacy). Thank you for replying! Actually I can't tell if a certain other account is editing in the same topic area, I just find a bit strange that an account behaves like that: waking up each N weeks or months to make a specific kind of edits and then back to sleep. This made me think that an original account is normally used for everything else while that one is a sock he's trying to keep unrelated, but if you say that's nothing suspicious at all I must have got wrong about this, even if perhaps a check would prove definitively that there's really nothing wrong. 151.82.121.26 (talk) 16:23, 3 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

1_I think Managers were only like ideas of themselves and don't pay to ideas of others and If I had a fault instead of guidance and edit , They deleted my creation pages.

@Ieslie thanks for reaching out. It appears you were uploading the covers to Wikimedia Commons, but Wikimedia Commons only allows freely-licensed works. Since most album covers are protected by copyright, they aren't allowed to be on Commons. However, you can locally upload them using the upload wizard. @Soibangla to be clear, the violation of policy was in readding the content to the article after it had been challenged without reaching a consensus to do so. Per WP:BLPRESTORE: When material about living persons has been deleted on good-faith BLP objections, any editor wishing to add, restore, or undelete it must ensure it complies with Wikipedia's content policies. If it is to be restored without significant change, consensus must be obtained first. Hence, restoring the content without a clear consensus, which you did, violated BLP policy. the content existed before the RFC and was still under RFC discussion, including expressed BLP concerns, so I did not see a BLP vio condition existed, meanwhile others removed the content with the RFC still underway, so I restored the status quo, obscure policy I was unaware of notwithstanding. in all the years I've been here, hardly a week goes by that I do not discover a policy shortname I had never seen before, including BLPRESTORE, as I am an exopedian rather than a metapedian, but I suppose ignorance of the law is no excuse. soibangla (talk) 10:36, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
