[edit] Hello, I'm Kuru. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to E-commerce have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at E-commerce, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. Thank you for your contributions to Korean Wave, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use your sandbox instead. Thank you. ReadItAlready (talk) 04:47, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at As If It's Your Last. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 05:07, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at 24 Hours, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 11:27, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Online community. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Disambiguation pages
[edit]Please read Wikipedia:Disambiguation to learn how Wikipedia uses disambiguation pages. The content should be a list of links to possible articles the reader may have been looking for. Each item should contain just a very brief description of what the article is about. No other information is needed. That's all presented in the articles themselves. Thank you. signed, Willondon (talk) 15:13, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
Please do read the advice and guideline given above. Per WP:DABCOMBINE, a reader having arrived at the Boss article by typing "boss" into a Wikipedia search will not have been looking for The Boss Baby. --Belbury (talk) 11:28, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
- I recently made an edit to the films section of the BOSS page, specifically including an American animated movie titled "The Boss Baby". Few hours later, I noticed that my edit was removed. I believe that my movie inclusion was relevant to the BOSS PAGE as they contribute to a comprehensive overview of the subject matter. Could you please provide clarification on why this information was removed and how we can ensure its inclusion in a suitable manner? ElizaRobert86 (talk) 11:53, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
- Disambiguation pages are to distinguish similar terms. The Boss page is basically a list of people and concepts where a person might use the simple term "boss" or "the boss" by itself to describe them.
- A person who lives in Boss, Texas might type "boss" into a Wikipedia search, trying to find that place, and the disambiguation page helps them to get there.
- This doesn't apply to a film called "The Boss Baby". A person looking for the film article would not just type the word "boss" by itself into a search. Belbury (talk) 12:17, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
