A tag has been placed on La Liga Save of the Month, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
  • It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. can you stop taking care of the Indonesian player articles by deleting their monthly achievements it is clearly always included in any player article why do you only delete it for Indonesian players please stop Elditya 029 (talk) 11:45, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

As made clear in this discussion at WP:FOOTY, monthly awards—like Team of the Month—are not included in the "Honours" sections of individual players. This is established consensus. You are welcome to introduce the issue again at WP:FOOTY to seek a new consensus. Who knows, maybe this time it will be different. But making edits against consensus simply because you believe the consensus is not correct is not appropriate. And concerning Indonesian players, I edit hundreds of players from all over the world. Simply because you continue to edit against consensus on one of them doesn't mean I am picking on you. Anwegmann (talk) 17:39, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
For example, your edit here is correct. The person who reverted you is incorrect—even though they stole my edit summary from elsewhere. Things like Player of the Month awards for an entire league, like the Premier League, should appear, as that award itself has its own article—Premier League Player of the Month. Same goes for your edit here. This too is correct, because it is a yearly award for the entire league which has its own article—J.League Best XI. But your edit here is incorrect, because it is simply a monthly team award, rather than an individual award, that does not cover an entire league for the season, and it does not and should not have its own article. As such, reverting that last edit is not "vandalism," as you termed it in the edit summary. I hope this makes things clear. Anwegmann (talk) 17:52, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have seen articles about other Eredivisie players and it is clear that it should be included because it is an official award and has a clear source please look carefully I can't add it without doing some research first so understand well about the monthly awards that should be included there is no reason to delete it because it doesn't have its own article but it has a clear source and was officially announced by the league just like the monthly awards in other leagues so please stop your stupid arguments by denying and deleting it Elditya 029 (talk) 18:43, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You are actively, and now consciously, editing against established consensus. And the "stupid" arguments are not mine. They are the arguments of the consensus. Anwegmann (talk) 20:20, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Mattythewhite and/or @GiantSnowman might have something more to add to this, as you don't seem to be willing to discuss this with me peacefully or try to understand what I am trying to tell you. I have tried to invite you to open a new discussion at WP:FOOTY to change the existing consensus, but you don't appear to be interested in doing that, passing the argument off on me, insistently reverting corrections against that consensus, and not making yourself clear here. Again, it is possible to change consensus. But I cannot change on my own, just like you can't. So arguing with me here about whether or monthly team awards should appear on individual players' pages does very little in the grand scheme of things. The onus is on you to seek a new consensus, not on me to allow you to edit against it. Anwegmann (talk) 20:22, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
why did you only delete it for Indonesian players not with other Eredivisie players try to pay attention clearly by mentioning it I think it would be better and not harm you then why did you delete it as if you were not happy with the achievements of our players if that is your principle why didn't you delete it in the articles of other players and only players who play for the Indonesian national team this includes something personal and is vandalism with the pretext that it does not need to be included understand my argument well and do not divert it to other people I am speaking personally to you because I too often take care of articles of Indonesian players personally as if you know best if I do not have the freedom to edit things like this even though I have a clear source it is better for me to stop because the results of my research and editing are not appreciated and deleted at will by people like you please stop doing that to Indonesian players if you really want to delete it and there is no need to include awards in the Eredivisie league delete it for other players not only personally to Indonesian players understand Elditya 029 (talk) 01:32, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have seen other articles on some famous players in the Netherlands such as Veerman and Luuk De Jong and I see clearly that the Eredivisie team of the month award is always included in each article. Understand this well. Elditya 029 (talk) 01:41, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Elditya 029, please see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS - you are of course welcome to remove offending material from other articles as well. Please WP:AGF and do not take Anwegmann's edits personally, and do not insult them. GiantSnowman 21:55, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Can you tell me which individual monthly achievements are allowed to be listed and which are not? I am confused as to why the Eredivisie team of the month was removed while I saw other articles for example some players in the English and Portuguese leagues always include their monthly achievements in the honours section. Elditya 029 (talk) 04:48, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No monthly team awards should be listed. The fact that you've seen some players with them listed is irrelevant—see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Indeed, as GiantSnowman explained above, you are welcome to remove improper monthly team awards from "Honours" sections when you see them. Anwegmann (talk) 05:37, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
there is nothing that prohibits it from being included unless you want to remove the monthly award remove it for all articles not just some to be fair Elditya 029 (talk) 00:23, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Have you not looked at the consensus discussion linked twice above or read how WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, as @GiantSnowman linked above? Either starts a new discussion at WP:FOOTY about this, or move on to something else, as your editing has become disruptive. Anwegmann (talk) 04:37, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There is no consensus for these awards to be included. GiantSnowman 15:26, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
