Proposed deletion of Personal Service Company

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Personal Service Company, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No sources

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Clifton, Bristol do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jezhotwells (talk) 17:45, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding this:

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

And that is, clearly, NOT referencing. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:50, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Elboono. I thought I'd post a quick message here to explain why I don't think Chris 'Woody' Wood should be included in the list of former pupils. Although notability is subjective to an extent, there are guidelines for notability on Wikipedia. Entries on lists like this need to meet the relevant notability guidelines, which for musicians are found here. I'm not sure Chris Wood or Bastille meets this criteria yet, although I would be happy to discuss this further. Perhaps his future career as a musician will lead to having his own Wikipedia article, but we'll have to wait and see. Sorry for not posting a message previously when I removed the name, I probably should have done. I'm happy to discuss this further. Take care, Moswento talky 08:51, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
