ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Is now a good time to suggest my name change?

[edit]

When I mentioned my idea for a name change regarding 2025 New Orleans Truck Attack you suggested that I should wait a week for each prior suggestion to play out. Well, they've both been heavily opposed and both discussions have been closed; would now be a good time to suggest mine? Therguy10 (talk) 16:37, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, if there are no other open move requests. Einsof (talk) 16:42, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I've checked and don't see any so I think I will. I can't for the life of me get the template to work for me so it may be a minute before it's up and running lol. Therguy10 (talk) 16:44, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Einsof I added the template request a couple hours ago to the talk page, but no template regarding a name change discussion has been added to the article heading. Have I done something wrong? Therguy10 (talk) 18:50, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is not done automatically. You need to add Template:RM notice to the top of the article. Einsof (talk) 19:44, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but I'm trying to add the 2-sentence template seen at WP:RSPM, which claims to be added automatically by a bot. Template:RM notice looks to be for WikiProjects instead. :/ Therguy10 (talk) 19:57, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You are right that it should be done automatically and I am not sure why it isn't. You could try asking at WT:RM. Einsof (talk) 20:06, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad to hear it isn't something I've done wrong. :D Thanks for letting me know and I will see what I can do! Therguy10 (talk) 20:11, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Christopher Robson moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Christopher Robson. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Hey man im josh (talk) 17:58, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
