Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as File:Frank Ocean - Nikes - Apple Music Banner.jpg, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - That image was an official artwork used by Apple Music, not a hoax. Nevertheless, it's not necessary for the page. Ego-Odysseus (talk) 03:00, 20 December 2024 (UTC)

How to properly add non-free images to music articles
[edit]You have been violating image copyright rules left and right on Wikipedia. The main two things you have been doing wrong is uploading images that are too large, and adding images to articles in a way that violates the non-free rationale requirement of minimal usage.
Size: uploaded non-free images must not be larger than 100,000 pixels. That means typical album and single cover images are uploaded at around 300 to 316 pixels square (316 × 316 = 99,856). If you upload a larger non-free image, it cannot be used until a new version is uploaded at the correct, smaller size. The automated service DatBot comes around and makes the correction, but you should not make extra work for DatBot. Rather, you should be uploading the correct size the first time. That way you can add the image right away to the song article. The instructions at Template:Infobox_album#cover are helpful.
Minimal usage: The guideline at Wikipedia:Non-free content says non-free images "should be minimal and confined... to complement (within narrow limits) articles about copyrighted contemporary works." The non-free images are usually limited to just one per page, used for identification at the top of the infobox. The infobox image should be something that is widely associated with the music, not a little-known promo image. If some particularly in-depth discussion is made in the article body about a second image, then that second image can be uploaded to show what was discussed. But this second image must not be easily described by words, or else it is not needed. The second image must be very important to the topic.
You tried to added extra non-free images to the Frank Ocean song "Nikes".[1] The top cover image you chose is a screenshot of the video, which is not official song artwork. There is no official song artwork, as can be seen at Apple's page for buying the song. The second image you tried to add was some kind of digital banner taken from Apple; again, this is not the song's offical artwork owned by the Boys Don't Cry label. These additions have image captions with inline URLs as links, a practice which is deprecated. See Wikipedia:External links which says "External links normally should not be placed in the body of an article", like in an image caption.
You tried to add a promotional image to the Frank Ocean song "Lost".[2] The image was too large at 590 × 590, and it was taken from a very limited promo release, which is hardly associated with the song. If someone could successfully argue that the promo image IS tightly connected to the song, then the image still would be a copyright violation on Wikipedia unless it is 316 × 316 or smaller.
At Blonde (Frank Ocean album), you added a third cover image, a "library card" hinting at upcoming release, and a pop-up flyer image.[3] Your additions meant that the page held five non-free images, which is way too many. The pop-up flyer was too easily described in words, so it was out. The artwork from the two alternate album covers were not discussed in the article body, so they were out. Only the library card could be kept as it was the topic of much discussion in the media. Here you also added inline URLs which are deprecated on Wikipedia.
