IGN
[edit]Sorry, but your recent addition to IGN is completely unsourced. I'm sure there are people out here who have expressed these opinions, but you need to provide reliable sources to show that these opinions are significant (rather than just a couple people); right now, the section reads like just a personal rant by you. I'll wait about 48 hours, but if you haven't added sources by then the section will have to be deleted. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 06:33, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- The point is WP:Verifiability. If there is just a general feeling around forums that people don't like it, we rarely can include that in an article, because forum posts aren't reliable sources and the forum itself is not very notable. It can only be included if a third-party source has covered that (for example, if NYT or some other source wrote an article discussing how many people in forums don't like IGN).
- As for "defending" IGN...no one here is trying to do that, or to blatantly promote the website. All I'm trying to do is, like I said, uphold Wikipedia's guidelines. If you can add properly written criticism of IGN I won't remove it. But when it's nothing but a list if your personal thoughts, feelings, and observations, it has no place in an encyclopedia article.
- If you can't clean it up within 48 hours, then the best thing to do is prepare the section elsewhere (in your userspace, or off-wiki in a word processor) and only post it when it's ready. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 13:32, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Ctrl+Alt+Del
[edit]Good day, just to inform you I have contested the proposed deletion of Ctrl+Alt+Del due to the fact it would not be an uncontroversial deletion, and that I feel the scenario would benefit from gaining full consensus at Articles for Deletion. Additionally, the proposed deletion was contested in the past before I reviewed it, making it ineligible for the prod process anyway. Hope this helps, --Taelus (talk) 13:45, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
- Does List of Ctrl+Alt+Del: The Animated Series episodes also need to bite the dust? Fences&Windows 14:54, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- It would make sense. Proposal on the talk page may be in order, though. Dudewhiterussian (talk) 15:11, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
