AfD notices

[edit]

Please don't remove AfD notices, that is a serious offence and might get you blocked from editing WP. If you want to keep the article, the best thing to do is to read WP:GNG and then provide reliable sources on its subject and bring that forward in an impassioned manner at the AfD discussion. If you have good arguments, people will listen to you, I guarantee! But again, those arguments must be based in WP policy. Happy editing! --Crusio (talk) 23:27, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • You're wrong. He's not questioning the veracity of what you wrote, only whether it is appropriate for inclusion in an encyclopedia. Proposing an article for deletion is not a hostile act. Most are actually kept, but only if people come up with good sources. Surely you understand that just because somebody says something (and we generally don't even know who that somebody is), that it necessarily is true and notable. The important thing here is not to panic and not to get angry. AfD (articles for deletion) debates take a week, so you have plenty of time to improve the article. Read the guidelines that I linked to in the above paragraphs and those that are in the welcome message at the top of this page and you'll have a better idea of what is needed here. A you know the subject best, you are also the best-placed person to provide that information (that is, reliable independent sources establishing notability -in the WP sense: this has nothing to do with quality or good or bad and such). Hope this helps. By the way, when you post a message to somebody's talk page, you should end it with four tildes (~~~~), that will automatically add your signature (and a time stamp), so that people know who left them a message. Hope this helps! --Crusio (talk) 23:41, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • And PLEASE stop removing AfD templates. All that will happen if you do this once more is that you will get blocked and will not be able to edit here any more. Your article will be deleted and your work for nothing... --Crusio (talk) 23:43, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for 31 hours from editing because your account is being used mainly for trolling, disruption or harassment, as you did at Students Health Home. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. I hate to "pile on", but I have deleted the article as a copyright violation because it consists almost entirely of text from here. If you are the copyright holder of the text and wish to re-use it in future then there are procedures to help you with this, particularly WP:OTRS - feel free to drop me a message if you need any other help. --Errant (chat!) 23:48, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
