Your GA nomination of Diva (Ivy Queen album)
Hello, I have reviewed your GA nomination and have concluded to put the article On hold for further work. Please see the talk page for a list of things that needs to be done in order to pass the article. Best, Jonatalk to me 00:32, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
Latin music ediathon
I just created a new section just to tell you this. Someone on the Latin music project has asked us to come with a name for the editathon that will be entirely devoted to Latin music to attract more editors to Wikipedia. They need help coming up with name for the editathon which will be held in the New York City Public Library in June. Man, I go overtly excited when I saw the request so I'm letting everyone know about this! =D Erick (talk) 23:54, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi Diva, just to let you know: I got carried away with other tasks last week, will work on the review this week. Sorry for the delay, and thanks for the improvements so far. --Pgallert (talk) 07:37, 29 April 2013 (UTC)

Bachata news
So, apparently Prince Royce is now with Sony Music. Since that also happens to be Romeo Santos' record label, you think they might work something together? Also, Toby Love's cover of Michael Jackson song is #1 in the Tropical Songs as well. Nice, being #1 in that chart and in the DR. Noticed the trend in bachata of artists performing covers in bilingual? Erick (talk) 18:35, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- Really? I have not heard that. That may be a marketing tactic between the label. Who knows? And yes. I have noticed this trend, Prince Royce started like that. Have you heard Leslie Grace? I'm sure you know, but her cover of "Will You Still Love Me" also reached #1 on the Tropical Songs. Her second single "Day One", which I think is not a cover also reached #1. I think it is a very good way of gaining fan base by singing in both languages. — DivaKnockouts 12:13, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah I did. :P It's been a long time since I heard a good female bachata singer. I think the last time was Alexandra of Monchy & Alexandra. There's also Berto La Voz cover of Richie Lionel's "Hello" and Karlos Rose's cover of Bruno Mars. If it happens, I would like to get a compilation album of these covers. Man, what's next? LOL Erick (talk) 16:54, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- Oh really? Listen to this if you haven't already. I should take out a trout! Haha just kidding. But yes, I really haven't heard any others, other than Alexandra. Wasn't there another group with Monchy in it, with a different female? I haven't heard Karlos Rose, actually. I'll check him out. A compilation album wouldn't hurt either. — DivaKnockouts 17:14, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know if it's me, but the audio only lasts 2 seconds. Well I couldn't hear it anyway, my mom's laptop has horrible sound quality and I can't use my PC because of a surgery I had last week. :( Yeah, it's called now called Monchy & Natalia but I bet he mixes up a lot in the recording sessions, haha. Like Grace, Rose's cover was #1 and had another #1 Tropical Song "Infiel", which I think is a cover of a Regional Mexican song. Erick (talk) 17:23, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- It's a 24-second sample. But eh, doesn't matter. :) You had surgery? What happened, if I may know :) Yeah, Natalia. That was her name. Haha, I haven't heard one of their songs yet. Yeah, I saw it was #1. But can you believe that Grace is on tour with La India and Ivy Queen? She really popped out. But Rose has a nice voice, I would say. Do you know what label he is signed to? I'll check out "Infiel" next. I wouldn't know, however as I'm not in to Regional Mexican. — DivaKnockouts 17:40, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know the original performer of "Infiel". :P But the trio tour of salsa, bachata, and reggaeton? Nice! As for what happened to me, I had an infection on my lower back that had to be removed, lest I be risked of having MRSA. Not cool at all. :( Erick (talk) 17:48, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- Alright :) Of course! But, did you hear about what happened to India? & Ahh! Alright then. That had to be painful. — DivaKnockouts 17:52, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

About the alleged abuse? Yeah, I did. So, I forgot to bring this up yesterday, you wanted a reggaeton task force yes? Well, a simple way of working would go like this: the project banner template would go {{Wikiproject Latin music|class=|importance=|reggaeton=yes}} and to save you the trouble of tagging them, you can request a bot to tag it at every talk page under the category reggaeton. Erick (talk) 21:34, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Alleged abuse?? I was referring to when she fell on stage in Chicago. She was abused!? Anyways, where would I request the bot to tag the articles. Also, wouldn't there need to be a project page? I tried tagging one article manually however it doesn't look different than before. — DivaKnockouts 01:33, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, it happened late last month Source And as for the bot, you can make requests here. Erick (talk) 20:02, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Omg. Thats horrible. But anyways, It seems this isn't the first, second or third time India has fallen on stage. & Alright, I've made the request. — DivaKnockouts 20:58, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, it happened late last month Source And as for the bot, you can make requests here. Erick (talk) 20:02, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Okie-dokie, seems your request has been down and the user has already created the page. All you have to do now is set up the task force and you can advertise it here. Erick (talk) 01:28, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- How would I set it up? Btw, thanks for your help Erick! — DivaKnockouts 02:32, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- Do you mean the task force? It doesn't have to be overly complicated. This is what the Latin music project looked liked when it was a task force. And no problem. While waiting for the Billboard Latin Music Awards to arrive, I'm making an awards and nominations page for Romeo Santos. I've set up a [[1]] for him. If it goes well, I'll do Prince Royce next. :P Erick (talk) 02:38, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- So I could use this as a template kind of? Edit it to fit the reggaeton task force? Thats right, Santos has how many awards this year? And you were thinking about doing Prince Royce's awards? I was too! Maybe we could work on it together? — DivaKnockouts 02:43, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- Sure, and you can copy some of the other stuff from the main page like the user box. I'd like to help out, but can we do Romeo Santos first? The king comes first then the prince after. XD Erick (talk) 02:45, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- Since I'm done with the Queen of course we can do the King. Haha, then the prince. I'd appreciate the help, right now I'm copying and edit on the task force page. Anything that you want to fix or add, please do so! — DivaKnockouts 02:49, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

Coolio. I think I'll join and help with the templates like the user box and stuff. :P Right now, I'm getting the ASCAP awards done for Romeo. He's get a shit load of them. Erick (talk) 02:55, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- That would help a lot. And wow. He does have a lot haha. Using my infobox eh? Haha, just kidding. Though, since it's your sandbox, tell me how you would like to do it. Do you want to assign me a specific award ceremony? Or how is it going to be? :) — DivaKnockouts 03:03, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- However you want. You just let me know what you want to do so I don't get in your way. ;) Erick (talk) 03:07, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- I'll do the BMI Awards next as those will probably be the next easiest. But I'll start tomorrow if that is okay with you. I'm about to fall out. — DivaKnockouts 03:14, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- However you want. You just let me know what you want to do so I don't get in your way. ;) Erick (talk) 03:07, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
I was just checking that now and don't see any BMI awards, but I'll leave that up to you. Good night! Erick (talk) 03:19, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- I found one which we won for "Ella y Yo", the clever Bachatón track he did with Don Omar as a part of Aventura. — DivaKnockouts 23:14, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
- Erm, I don't think the awards that went to Aventura belong on Romeo Santo's award page, but rather on Aventura's awards. I forgot to mention this, but I wanted to do Aventura's awards and nominations as well after Royce. I'm sorry. And for more bitter news, I had to go to the emergency for a different reason and the pain has effected my ability to edit on Wikipedia. I apologize, but I think I might inactive again for a while. This sucks. :( Erick (talk) 03:11, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I saw the ASCAP Awards table and you include the awards for Aventura. EDIT: I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better. :) — DivaKnockouts 03:17, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- Gracias. Anyways, the ASCAP awards are for composers, not performers so that's why it's there. ;) Erick (talk) 03:26, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- Eh, Aventura didn't receive writing credits on the song as a whole, whoever wrote is credited individually. Well, you get the last say anyways so okay :) — DivaKnockouts 03:30, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

Haha, I mean, the ASCAP awards goes to Romeo's award article since he wrote them. Everything else would go to Aventura's awards article. :P Erick (talk) 03:35, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- Got it! — DivaKnockouts 05:46, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
Sorry for not posting yesteday, but thanks for doing the Premios Juventud part. I'm in pain now so that's why I haven't been editing much right now.
- It's okay Erick! You need to stay off here anyhow until you get better. :) Anyways, you're welcome. I'm trying to think of any other award ceremony. Oh and the BMI awards honor composers so the "Ella y Yo" award gets to stay right? :P — DivaKnockouts 19:51, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you. :) Anyways to your answer question, it depends on if the award is specifically awarded to Romeo or Aventura. Just a heads up, I noticed that Pa'l Mundo and the awards list officially "Noche de Sexo" lists Aventura as the guest single even though it's just Romeo, so I only added the ASCAP award since it says he wrote it. On the other hand, you might've noticed I've added "No, No, No" since Thalia's album and the awards officially lists as "Anthony/Romeo Santos". Erick (talk) 21:27, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
- Let me check :) Anyways, I found a BMI award for Santos for "Promise". :D — DivaKnockouts 21:37, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Well I think I got every award avaiable. If there aren't any more to add, then shall we get to the prose? I might need help with that. :) Erick (talk) 23:00, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
- Okay :) Well, as in content I could help. Though, my English is not the best. But we will get it done. :) — DivaKnockouts 23:59, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
So I started on the prose, dividing his work with Aventura and his solo career into two paragraphs. How do you like it so far and is there anything you could add? Erick (talk) 07:02, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- Lets see, It looks great. But since his main article is all that much help, maybe we should include a little more information on Santos. How many records has he sold with Aventura? And for the second paragraph, obviously would be information on awards he himself have won. For Formula and its tracks. I'll see what I can add in. :) — DivaKnockouts 13:28, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- I've added the group's sales according to Billboard and a new Telemundo presented award show Tu Mundo. — DivaKnockouts 22:11, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah I saw. :P I saw Santos a Premios Tu Mundo when I was watching the award show. BTW, Formula, Vol. 1 just now got expanded! How do you like it? Erick (talk) 22:17, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- It looks awesome Erick! Great job! :) You have a DYK for this right? — DivaKnockouts 22:23, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Absolutely! I'm going for the Four Award this time around. ;) Speaking of which, have you received your Triple Crown yet? Erick (talk) 22:25, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Llorarás
On 29 April 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Llorarás, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that R.K.M & Ken-Y received an American Society of Composers and Publishers Award for "Llorarás" and "Igual Que Ayer" at the same ceremony? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Llorarás. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Do you have time for a GA review?
Hi there! I saw that you have made great contributions to several music-related articles, and I was wondering if you'd have time to do a small favor for me. I nominated Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up for GA a few weeks ago, and have had difficulties finding an interested reviewer. It's not too long of an article (about medium-sized, I'd say); might you be interested in taking some time and reviewing it? (No hard feelings if you're not interested!) Regards, WikiRedactor (talk) 21:19, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Well thanks! I'll be happy to review it! :) — DivaKnockouts 21:31, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! WikiRedactor (talk) 21:38, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
The Re-Up corrections
I made all the corrections you asked for, except I left the MyPinkFriday reference in; it's actually Minaj's official website. Thanks again for your time, let me know if you ever need a favor! WikiRedactor (talk) 23:00, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Whoops, I noticed an error on my part with a reference, I'll fix that right away. WikiRedactor (talk) 23:01, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Passed it. Great job with the article. Anyways, I do have a peer review here, that's over two months old, (actually the current oldest peer review) if you are interested. No other editors seem interested. — DivaKnockouts 23:45, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Sure thing! I'll have more time tomorrow to take care of that. WikiRedactor (talk) 00:26, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

Copy-edit request for Ivy Queen
Hi DivaKnockouts, just a note about your copy-edit request for the above article. AnthonyW90, who accepted the request, is editing a copy of the article in his userspace. He intends to complete the copy-edit but hasn't been terribly active because of real life happenings. I'll leave it up to you, but I'll suggest that you withdraw the request because there's not much point in two or more editors working on separate copies of the article, which would happen if it's returned to the queue. Thanks for understanding. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 17:02, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi DivaKnockouts. I wouldn't withdraw it. Apologies, Baffle, but if DivaKnockouts withdraws the request, we'll lose track. Anthony has it marked as {{working}}. That's enough, isn't it? --Stfg (talk) 18:19, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Stfg, I thought that if Anthony was editing in user space, it might be better if other editors weren't working on it 'live' to avoid divergence, but you're correct and I'm sorry for giving Diva the incorrect suggestion. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 20:53, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- I've requested a further update from Anthony since there have been no sandbox edits since 25th April. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 05:25, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
- I'm now working on the copy-edit and will be using text from Anthony's sandbox edits. Please feel free to contact me, and to correct or revert my changes if I'm doing something I shouldn't. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 10:41, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- Done - I've removed some text and references, some of which I've placed on the article's talk page. Feel free to contact me about any issues arising from the copy-edit. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 01:46, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Bachata Number 1's, Vol. 3
On 14 May 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Bachata Number 1's, Vol. 3, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that only five of the twelve tracks on Bachata #1's, Vol. 3 are actually number-one singles? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Bachata Number 1's, Vol. 3. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

US School district articles are well established as notable
I do not know you so please forgive that I'm starting from zero and rehashing things you may already be aware of. You tagged Klondyke School District for notability concerns. This page describes a US school district. Most school districts in the US, including this one, are governments and designated as such by the twice a decade census conducted by the US Census Bureau, which is just finishing up their 2012 data for publication. This crops up fairly frequently as there is a persistent minority who are either unaware that this is well trod upon ground or just disagree with consensus and seek (and sometimes succeed) to get such government pages deleted. For another project I am currently compiling information on all US school district governments and as an early part of this effort I stubbed out a number of school districts in wikipedia. The AfD ended up establishing, once again, that it's well established but not universally known that all school districts that are governments are inherently notable. It was also a huge time sink and the reason why my now comprehensive list of school districts and autogenerated stubs hasn't been comprehensively included. I include the current skeleton below but it's still missing the NCES information as I haven't gotten around to building out an auto-extractor to fill out the infobox and there was pretty strong sentiment that the number of people who would try to delete these articles would significantly drop if I incorporated the NCES data. For this particular district, you can find them here if you are interested in improving the article. TMLutas (talk) 15:42, 14 May 2013 (UTC)
- If US school districts well established as notable why are [5], [6], and [7] being PRODed? Every school district is not notable and "governments and designated as such by the twice a decade census conducted by the US Census Bureau" are not all notable.
Bachata pt. 2
I didn't want to clutter your talk page with one huge section, so I made a new one. :P So anyways, I want your opinion on this. I really want to go ahead and nominated Formula, Vol. 1, but I don't know if I should or wait till it gets copy-edited. That or wait after GA so I can get it copy-edited for FAC. I don't think there's any stand out issues as far as grammar goes. Erick (talk) 06:13, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- I was beginning to think that. Anyways, I'd say the article has a 99.99% of passing a GA. I don't see any major issues with the prose anything that does come up could be fixed. Since it takes a long time for someone to pick your article to copy-edit, I'd say nom it now since that usually takes some time too. If the article gets copy-edited and passes its GA then it should be ready for an FA nom. Though a peer review after the GA wouldn't hurt either. Though, my opinions are irrelevant to the person who has the last say. :) — DivaKnockouts 14:31, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- No, I agree. It's usually nice to have someone's opinion on a subject they're familiar with. :P You saw my work on Mi Reflejo, didn't you (I saw your contribs). It was just to help out WikiProject Christina Aguilera out of good faith from the Latin music project. :) Erick (talk) 19:48, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I did. That was very nice of you! In the end it benefits the Wiki :p — DivaKnockouts 01:32, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

I think that's it for Santos's awards. Should we just create the article and nominate FL? Erick (talk) 04:06, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Haha, looks like we were thinking about the same thing at the same time. Alright lets do it :) — DivaKnockouts 04:09, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- Heres goes nothing. Erick (talk) 04:15, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- There's your first FL. There aren't any major issues with the article I can tell. I went straight in when I nominated Ivy Queen's. Haha, we got it! — DivaKnockouts 04:18, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- No DYK? EDIT: In case you do plan on noming a DYK, I'll handle the QPQ since you did most of the work. Santos winning an award for the Frankie J's cover of his "Obsession" sounds interesting. What do you have in mind? — DivaKnockouts 13:23, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

Not printed sources?
Hi. You reverted an edit of mine ([8]). What do you mean by "not printed sources"? I didn't add any sources. -- Magioladitis (talk) 06:22, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hello, in your edit you removed the quotes that make the name of the work non-italiced. Terra Networks, Recording Industry Association of America and Allmusic, etc. are not printed sources (magazines, newspapers, books) like Billboard, Los Angeles Times or The New York Times. I also reverted this ([9]) because there are multiple search results for the search term "Diva", thus "If necessary, click Advanced, then click Format, then select Album, then click Type, then select Latin, then click SEARCH" is needed. Regards — DivaKnockouts 12:38, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- Is something in the manual or the documentation that says that non printed sources are italised? Thanks. -- Magioladitis (talk) 12:55, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- Printed sources are automatically italised when using the {{Cite web}} template, when entered in the |work parameter. Non-printed sources are not to be italised. See WP:CITEHOW, it specifies that book, journal, and newspaper citations should be in italics. Webpages (non-printed sources) are not. — DivaKnockouts 13:13, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
- Then I guess you need to use {{cite web}}? Sorry for making all these questions but I am not an expert and I would like to know more. -- Magioladitis (talk) 15:19, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

SheiKra FAC
Hello again, I don't know if you remmeber but just over two weeks ago you "supported" the SheiKra article for FA status in this review. That review was closed due to a lack of consensus and I was wondering if you would be willing to "support" the article again in the second review. Thanks!--Dom497 (talk) 02:46, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
We are currently running a study on the effects of adding additional information to SuggestBot's suggestions. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find contact information on the SuggestBot study page.
IMPORTANT CHANGES: We have modified the selection of articles SuggestBot suggests and altered the design to incorporate more information about the articles, as described in this explanation.
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information.
Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions
We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:
- Views/Day
- Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
- Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
- Sources
- For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. Regards from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 01:09, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
