Speedy deletion nomination of Bob Kozonis
[edit]A tag has been placed on Bob Kozonis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Bob Kozonis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Peridon (talk) 23:08, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
The article Xenofon Fetsis has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. かんぱい! [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Papa Bouba Diop, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hello. Please don't remove sourced information without explaining why you're doing it. The Birmingham figures on the AEK site here are wrong. He played only 12 games in total for Birmingham, of which 9 were in the Premier League, all in the 2009/10 season: see Soccerbase here, the Birmingham City site here and the Premier League site here. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 22:52, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
AEK Athens stuff
[edit]Hi DEMIS, VASCO from Portugal here,
as you have done (at least) in David Mateos and Nabil Baha, please stop adding AEK ATHENS sections in the articles, with CLUB CAREER it is enough. Second (just in Baha), stop changing his MÁLAGA totals, he scored 24 not 43! Also, regarding his move to AEK, no need to write full name ("NABIL BAHA", just "BAHA") is enough, and no need also to correct right link (AEK ATHENS F.C.) and write WRONG one (AEK ATHENS), and i also wrote he was a free agent when he joined AEK, so no need for you to write he joined AEK when his contract with MÁLAGA ended.
Please respect other people's work, i will be keeping close attention to this... - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 19:08, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- And why did you change (also in BAHA), the PC and NT updates in infobox? Please stop. - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 19:12, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- In Juan Torres Ruiz, i don't know if you are the anon user that added that reference for height in his box, but please stop. As i told the other user (you?), that reference is already a link ("Transfermarkt profile"), so it adds nothing new! I told you i believe you, OK he's 1,85 i won't change it anymore. And why do you name the player JAUN CALA in the ref?
Also, no need for a sub-section in AEK, he has no others for other clubs OK? Please respect other people's work, the same will be done to yours - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 19:06, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- Also found the hidden message in the player's box, really polite...I am not a fan of AEK, correct (but you guessed that without knowing me!), and i am not a fan of any other club, but i can edit in Cala's page or any other OK? I apologize for removing the transfer because i thought the deal was not ready yet, but don't tell me where i can edit or not again please.
Also (i think you are the anonymous user that also worked there, as the text is THE SAME), stop adding not-encyclopedical stuff like "he likes Jiménez, he wants to play Europa League, etc", just write the loan deal and the fact he reunited with his coach, that is enough in an encyclopedia. I also changed the references from Greek to English, always from the AEK official site.
Attentively - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 19:12, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
The article Maroudis Bougaidis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable youth player who has never appeared in a fully-professional league. Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTY.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Sotiris Ninis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Greek (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:15, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
