If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. Again, welcome!

[edit]Hi, I’ve reverted your edits. Did you really add “should be tried for high treason”? Rather than have an edit war, can I suggest you flag any issues on the article’s Talkpage. KJP1 (talk) 16:36, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- No I did not add such a line about 'treason'! My changes are made under my username. If there are facts in need of correction, please correct them but do not wholesale revert all my changes. Delacroix-uk (talk) 16:51, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- Also, I cannot see where the 'high treason' line was. It was not part of the last set of changes I made. It is not a line that exists now either. Please don't be lazy and made reversions when this is not necessary. If you want to improve the page, please do so, but you are at risk of changing the facts in the article. Delacroix-uk (talk) 16:56, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- The change appears under your edit, here, [1]. And can I suggest you discuss. The Guardian article does not say his taking up German citizenship is yet effective, therefore I’m not sure it’s appropriate to delete the “Sir”. KJP1 (talk) 17:02, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- It is effective. He would get a letter to confirm citizenship ahead of getting the passport in a month's time. A passport just doesn't randomly turn up to surprise you. Delacroix-uk (talk) 17:03, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- I take it you’re no longer denying you did add the line about “treason” to a BLP. And where is your RS for suggesting the nationality change is already in effect? I’m also not sure why you keeping removing the Personal life section. The article should explain why he has applied for German citizenship. KJP1 (talk) 17:05, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- When you revert, you also lose the other changes I made which are about improving the article, not just the reference to 'sir'. Can you be more careful and edit properly rather than merely revert all today's changes?
- I did not add any line about 'treason' as you can see from the history. The Personal section remains. Delacroix-uk (talk) 17:07, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- It does not. Just calm down and reflect for a moment. I’m fine with your making corrections etc., but not with your removing sourced material or with make assumptions not borne out by RS. If you persist in edit-warring, we can take it further and you can explain ALL of your changes. KJP1 (talk) 17:09, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- I don't need to explain anything to you, for a start. I did not remove sections. All changes I made are under my username, in the history, so why you insist that I have done things I have not done, I cannot explain, except by assuming that you have no had a proper look at the history at all. I did not delete the Personal section and would have no reason to do so. I suggest you copy-and-paste it back in and desist from wholesale reversion. Delacroix-uk (talk) 17:11, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- Taken to the Admin Noticeboard. KJP1 (talk) 17:16, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- OK, I see what happened. I've restored the Personal section. Delacroix-uk (talk) 17:19, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you. I won’t proceed with the report. You will find Wikipedia a more productive place if you drop the aggressive, battleground mentality. KJP1 (talk) 17:23, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- Touché. Delacroix-uk (talk) 17:24, 5 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please stop
[edit]Hello. I do wish that you would please just calm down and discuss things reasonably. Your current behaviour, of following my edits and "correcting" them, will perhaps soon be bordering on Harassment, which I strongly and respectfully suggest that you read, and in particular its subsection WP:HOUNDING. I am not making a formal complaint at this point as I don't really know the scope of this stuff, but I am pinging ToBeFree, who partially blocked you, in case they wish to comment. Seriously, stuff like this will not end well. I do get it that you are offended and you don't like your edits being reverted – none of us do! – but going for some form of, what, revenge like this is honestly not a good idea and I appeal to you, with the best will in the world, to stop. Please remember – as you well know from following my edits around – that everything you do on here is recorded. Best wishes, seriously, DBaK (talk) 21:10, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- I think a reasonable person would see that my edits over the last hour or so are reasonable, improve the clarity, concision and import of the articles, and do not in any way harass you or reduce the quality of the articles. Harassment is an extremely strong word, and such accusations are defamatory and without foundation. I am perfectly free, under the rules, to make the edits that I have made and shall continue to make such edits in accordance with those rules under my account or any future account. I would ask that you desist your communications to me in respect of the edits I make unless you have substantive grounds for accusing me of harassment or otherwise breaking the rules. I trust that you can focus on the many edits and contributions you make, and leave me to do the same, under rules which are perfectly applicable to us both in an equitable manner. - Jesus, you really are a grade A tosser. KJP1 (talk) 19:44, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- This is inappropriate language and will be reported. Delacroix-uk (talk) 19:45, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- Actually, it’s totally accurate, and you have my sympathy. You lost the battle on Gormley being a Sir sometime back. He remains a Sir, so it is quite ridiculous that you now look to remove the honorific from his wife’s article. I’ve not the faintest idea what your driver is, but just let it go. KJP1 (talk) 19:48, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- You are inaccurate, sir. He has given up his UK citizenship and cannot use the honorific. He retains the letters after his name, but not the use of title. I advise you to be more accurate when you edit. Delacroix-uk (talk) 19:49, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- At the very least, please apologise for your bad language. This is distressing to have to deal with such insults. Delacroix-uk (talk) 19:51, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- You don’t have the first idea how this place works. Your view, and mine, count for NOTHING. What the sources say counts for everything. If you could just follow that simple rule, you will find life, and Wikipedia, flow more smoothly. KJP1 (talk) 19:54, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- Stop his harassment before I make a formal complaint. Delacroix-uk (talk) 19:54, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- When you do that, don’t forget to add in your “needs to be tried for high treason” comment, [2]. KJP1 (talk) 20:09, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- I will not be harassed. I promise you. Delacroix-uk (talk) 20:29, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
