Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page House Hunting has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SnSIrf01HI. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:01, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page House Hunting because it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Fucking dorks up blocking people.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Cvilleslacker (talkcontribs) 6:25, 4 February 2014 (UTC)

Eric, Wikipedia does not exist to promote your film. If you want to contribute, you're welcome to do so, but you will have to let negative reviews stand. Anyway, it's not even a negative review; it's a rather unenthusiastic but generally positive review. I don't see why you're so dead set against it. Also, including uncited biographical information on yourself in this article is not appropriate. I really hate to give you ideas, but that belongs in a biography. Before you rush off to create an autobiography, I suggest you read WP:COI and WP:AUTO. By the way, insulting the admin who blocked you is not helpful. Instead, try making an post on the article talk page discussing why you feel so strongly that the Twitch Film review needs to be removed. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:47, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have to concur with NPR. Insulting the people who block you is not a good idea and can actually lead to your block becoming permanent if we have reason to believe that you will continue to be abusive or will continue to edit war. The thing is, if you honestly think the information is unhelpful or untruthful in some way, you have to justify it in some manner. Twitch Film is considered to be a reliable source on Wikipedia, so you would have to have a fairly good reason as to why it can't be included. A review being even slightly negative is not a good reason. Now if you are the director, please be aware that trying to selectively remove information about your movie from the Internet is not a good way to approach things. If you are truly unhappy with the reviews you should approach the review outlets to have them removed. HOWEVER, be aware that this is EXTREMELY counter-productive to the actual "becoming a well-known director" process. If people think that you are incapable of taking criticism things can go one of two ways: the site will take down the review and make sure to never write about anything you do again (and tell their movie reviewer/journalist friends about you) or they'll not only leave the review up but they may post about your request in public... and likely never review or cover your work again. The thing about stuff like this is that it doesn't end well in most circumstances and the creative professional in question usually ends up with a bad reputation. I've seen this happen in various scenarios and trust me, it doesn't end well. Please stop trying to selectively edit the article and please stop swearing at other editors. It does not reflect well on you. Even if you aren't the director, you aren't doing him any favors by doing this since they will associate your behavior with him, which can actually mess up careers. I've seen people shun authors and directors because they think that the behavior of the fan is representative of how the author reacts to negative or slightly negative scenarios. Please, don't do this. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 21:08, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
