Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! December 2017

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Chin people has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 02:43, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Chin/Zomi

[edit]

Please don't do that again. If you have a dispute, take it to the talk page with sources meeting WP:RS. I realise that there is a dispute over nomenclature but we don't take sides over this. Doug Weller talk 10:19, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You're mistaken

[edit]

There is not some simple dispute over nomenclature. Zomi is a subgroup of Chin itself. A lot of this info is factually incorrect and you are doing a huge disservice by propagating this false info. You have no idea what you're doing. Go to any Chin communities in the US and show them this page. This is outrageous and insulting to Chin people. You can't write your suppositions and guesses as facts and pat yourself on the back. By spreading these false information, you're dividing an entire ethnic group. This is essentially like saying one European ethnic group constitutes the entirety of Europe. ConradWalterSmith (talk) 21:29, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at Chin people

[edit]

Hello, ConradWalterSmith. Firstly: please note that uncivil comments like this are entirely unacceptable on Wikipedia. Secondly: Persistent removal of sourced text from articles, such as you have done at Chin people, is considered disruptive and violates Wikipedia policy on edit warring. Any further behavior like this will result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia.

Discussion and consensus are foundational principles of Wikipedia. Your initial edits were reverted because you failed to provide any reason for the removal of current text that is sourced to reliable independent sources. If you have a dispute about that information, than please use the talk page to discuss your reasons, and establish those reasons through reliable independent sources. When there is a dispute, consensus of opinion must be reached before any further edits are made. (Read WP:BRD — of which, you are now in the “discuss” phase -- for more information.) Please follow these Wikipedia guidelines and maintain civil discourse. Thank you. CactusWriter (talk) 20:10, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear CactusWriter

[edit]

Go fuck yourself as well. You wiki editors can get off your genteel cyber high horses since you suck ass at sharing knowledge and only spread false info while shooting down corrections. This is why Wikipedia is a joke and less people are becoming editors. ConradWalterSmith (talk) 07:23, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
