Ongoing Conflicts

[edit]

You did not fix the List of ongoing armed conflicts ,please fix your mistake. User:Garmin21. —Preceding undated comment added 00:38, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I did. If you check the previous edit, you'll see that one of the tables was in the wrong location, and I moved it back to where it was supposed to be. ChekhovsGunman (talk) 14:47, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lego Ideas

[edit]

Pertaining to this edit, please check and cite your sources in the future. (Using an WP:EDITSUMMARY wouldn't hurt either.) It was both unsourced and incorrect, that set had 2049 pieces and there are 5 larger Ideas sets as of March 2021. It may have been the largest when it came out, but so was the rocket that came out three months prior and the Voltron set that came out a year later, so noting "when it came out" would be insignificant and WP:UNDUE. Thank you, Yosemiter (talk) 01:12, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Yosemiter: Yep, I put it in the wrong set. I meant to say that the Tree House was the biggest set, but somehow I messed up and put it in the section about the fishing store. I'll correct that. ChekhovsGunman (talk) 21:02, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello ChekhovsGunman I wanted to add something further to your most recent edit to this page. Your claim about the Treehouse being the largest set is not supported by the citation you added (the Lego page doesn't make any mention of this). You need to add a media source that states this specifically, not just cite the product page itself. I hope this make sense. Fieryninja (talk) 21:36, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fieryninja: That's because it isn't. The since released Grand Piano now is at 3662. But I also don't think it is worth mentioning at all on the page since it can always be surpassed as well. I would also recommend not using Shop links as citations (leans into the realm of WP:PROMO), especially when plenty of independent press releases exist that could cite claims like this. Yosemiter (talk) 22:32, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Yosemiter: Dang it. I hadn't realized the piano had already been released. Sorry. ChekhovsGunman (talk) 11:48, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In terms of large sets, there are articles showing there is a general trend in increasing part counts such as this in 2017 and this in 2019. Part of the reason is a larger amount of small pieces as detailing and not so much in the physical size of the set itself. In other words, being the largest in a specific theme when there are a few truly massive sets in other themes (like the 10,000 piece Coliseum) probably is not really noteworthy. Do you need my help?

[edit]

I am a editor who likes American football, and I am bored, can you give me an article that needs help? Sportsfangnome (talk) 20:50, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Don't think I know any articles. I'll tell you if I find one. ChekhovsGunman (talk) 23:20, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Shooting Star (spacecraft) (October 28)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted because it included copyrighted content, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. You are welcome to write an article on the subject, but please do not use copyrighted work. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 01:02, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That makes sense. I think that the previous editor of the draft used copyrighted material, and I likely overlooked that. I'll edit this and resubmit. ChekhovsGunman (talk) 01:52, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback for Draft New Article?

[edit]

Hi, I see you're an active editor and member of the Spaceflight Wikiproject. I’m working on a rough draft of a new article here [1] for my satellite communications company E-Space, which I hope to submit to the Articles for Creation queue because as an E-Space employee I have a COI and can’t publish it on Wikipedia myself. But since I can see that the queue is very long and I want to have the best possible chance of approval when it gets submitted there, I was wondering if you might be willing to have a look at the draft and point out anything that needs to be improved first?

Thanks very much for your time! Talex000 (talk) 22:29, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
