Patrolling

Hey ChamithN! I got a notification that you were patrolling me, and while some of my edits have been reverted, I haven't vandalized any articles. If you could tell me on my talk page when you have some time, I'd appreciate it. Feel free to delete this section. TheIronSheik (talk) 21:03, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

@K scheik: I patrolled your pages to check errors in your user pages not to check errors in your edit. At the same time I've noticed that you are a good faith editor who relentlessly contribute to improve Wikipedia. So far I think you have done a good job to improve this encyclopedia. Don't worry about your edits getting reverted. We all do make mistakes and especially when you are a new user it's hard to deal with it. But I'm sure that you will gain more experience from these mistakes and become a skillful Wikipedia editor. Cheers.--Chamith (talk) 02:59, 2 February 2015 (UTC)

Carib Island chief

Chief William was elected in 2014, and is not succeeded by Garnett Joseph. Garnett was the chief before William. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Khaichung (talkcontribs) 17:18, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

@Khaichung: Hi, then you should change the whole paragraph to justify it. Changing only the word "Succeed" made me really suspicious. And please do cite a source. Cheers!--Chamith (talk) 17:22, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Grey's Anatomy

I recently edited the Grey's Anatomy Wikipedia article under the "Series Synopsis" section, regarding the duration that the main cast members stayed on the show. For example, it said Eric Dane was a main cast member until season 9, even though he was killed off in season 8and only guest starred as his ghost in season 9. Also, T. R. Knight was shown to be main cast in season 6, even though he was killed off in season five and made no further appearances. If you are going to undo the changes I make in the future, I suggest you make sure I am wrong first. That way, if I am correct, you won't undo all of my work. I would appreciate it if you would put my edits back in and notify me when you do.

Thank you, Joe Schuler — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.109.45.136 (talk) 01:42, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Hi sorry if you feel discouraged by reversion I made. The reason I undid it because you didn't explain your why you removed 'Heather Brooks entry from the table. If that character is no longer appearing in the current season you can change the parameter colspan="8" accordingly. In future I won't undo your edits if you can provide a good edit summary. It is confusing when you suddenly make changes to a table without even telling us what you are doing. Cheers!--Chamith (talk) 05:09, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

The reason I removed heather brooks is because she was never main cast. She was reoccurring through season 9 and killed off in the first episode of season 10 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.109.45.136 (talk) 18:34, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

If that's the reason I'm fine with the removal. But you have to mention your changes in edit summary. That way other editors can understand that your intention is to improve to Wikipedia. There are so many vandals that remove parts of Wikipedia for fun. Best,--Chamith (talk) 18:46, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

glee...

I'm really sorry about that, it was a dare. I felt bad about it after I got the screencap and fixed it immediately afterwards. I won't do that again, I promise, and I hope no one was hurt by it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:CF85:4E10:38CB:4887:75BA:9339 (talk) 06:28, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

No problem. Everyone makes mistakes. It's not just you. Cheer up!--Chamith (talk) 07:21, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

Maaza was not launched by Coca Cola

http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Parle_Agro#cite_note-re95-2

I really have no idea what you think your role on Wikipedia is but it isn't what you're doing. Stating the obvious like the sky is blue or the earth is round isn't original research, it is common knowledge. Also, it is common knowledge for most people who lived in India during that period that Maaza pre-dates Coca-Cola

If you had even the slightest interest in actually improving Wikipedia content, you must have removed the previous line which states Maaza was a coca cola drink and links to a non-existent source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.77.159.64 (talk) 13:18, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

First, I'd like to see you improve Wikipedia. Secondly this thing about maaza definitely isn't obvious like the sky is blue or the earth is round. How is that supposed to be common knowledge? For Indians it might be common knowledge. But what about the rest of the world? Furthermore you edits were confusing. The article was about mango and the given information about that soft drink is adequate. Because the article is about mango, not about maaza. Consider adding those info to Maaza article. And yes, you didn't even provide a source. You have to, because it's not an obvious fact. Ask other editors if you want. Thank you.--Chamith (talk) 13:26, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Source removal

You recently removed a citation in Seattle because the link to a source was not working. Dead links should not be deleted. In the future, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure reliable sources are retained. Thank you. Ibadibam (talk) 22:32, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

@Ibadibam: Hi, I'm well aware of that. But actually when I checked I couldn't find any archives for that webpage in the wayback machine. I don't know how you did it. Doesn't matter, I'm happy that you did. Thank you for notifying me about it. Cheers!--Chamith (talk) 01:01, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
