Proposed deletion of Wiki races
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Wiki races, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Talkback!
[edit]You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Your message
[edit]CJay, I saw your message on Ironholds' talk page. You may want to look at our criteria for inclusion, which are how we determine whether something should have an article at Wikipedia. I don't doubt that "Wiki races" exist, but as far as I know, it's not something that's been documented in "reliable sources" (things like books, magazines, newspapers, etc.) We generally don't include articles on pop cultural phenomena until that sort of documentation appears to show that they've made a significant impact. I hope this helps explain what's happened. Yours, Choess (talk) 02:43, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
