Extended confirmed anniversary!

Hi CAPTAIN RAJU! It's past midnight UTC, but where I am, today (6 April) is your extended confirmed anniversary! I saw this while seeing the adminversary messages you post on other users pages, and thought it'd be nice to congratulate you on the day you reached 500 edits and 30 days! Thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia, and I hope you keep contributing for many years to come! TonyBallioni (talk) 02:57, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

Thank you very much TonyBallioni.CAPTAIN RAJU(T) 08:23, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

Hello there. Can I enlist your help? The Handbook of COVID-19 Prevention and Treatment is threatened with deletion. I think it is a worthwhile wikipedia page, and would like your help to save it. Thanks in advance for your time. Magnovvig (talk) 18:06, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

Assessments edits (again)

Hi. I'm afraid I must ask again, but is there absolutely no way you can perform each of your article assessments with a single edit? You see, some editors will use the RecentChangesLinked special page to keep track of talk page updates, and this screenshot shows how the one for WikiProject Thailand looks to a logged out user when your assessments come through. It would help avoid a lot of the clutter if you could reduce the number of edits to each individual page. --Paul_012 (talk) 08:04, 9 April 2020 (UTC)

Editing news 2020 #1 – Discussion tools

Read this in another languageSubscription list

Screenshot showing what the Reply tool looks like
This early version of the Reply tool automatically signs and indents comments.

The Editing team has been working on the talk pages project. The goal of the talk pages project is to help contributors communicate on wiki more easily. This project is the result of the Talk pages consultation 2019.

Reply tool improved with edit tool buttons
In a future update, the team plans to test a tool for easily linking to another user's name, a rich-text editing option, and other tools.

The team is building a new tool for replying to comments now. This early version can sign and indent comments automatically. Please test the new Reply tool.

  • On 31 March 2020, the new reply tool was offered as a Beta Feature editors at four Wikipedias: Arabic, Dutch, French, and Hungarian. If your community also wants early access to the new tool, contact User:Whatamidoing (WMF).
  • The team is planning some upcoming changes. Please review the proposed design and share your thoughts on the talk page. The team will test features such as:
    • an easy way to mention another editor ("pinging"),
    • a rich-text visual editing option, and
    • other features identified through user testing or recommended by editors.

To hear more about Editing Team updates, please add your name to the "Get involved" section of the project page. You can also watch these pages: the main project page, Updates, Replying, and User testing.

Project Tagger

Hi, please don't use Project Tagger, it is no longer maintained and contains a number of bugs. These bugs include the addition of the parameters |importance=|quality= to each WikiProject - not all of them recognise |importance=, and I can't find any that recognise |quality=. This means that edits like this will dump the page into hidden Category:Pages using WikiProject Trains with unknown parameters and Category:Pages using WikiProject India with unknown parameters. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:31, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Ceasar DeJesus

On this edit, do you really think it's a good idea to change the given name of a player who apparently has a Hispanic background? Ceasar and Cesar are often used as given names. Changing to "Caesar" would probably be a good idea in the case of a Roman emperor. You shouldn't accept all suggestions that come from AWB Typo checking unless the changes make good sense to you. Happy editing! Chris the speller yack 16:20, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

AFD problem

Hi, Lately I have worked hard to improve some gay porn actor bios, I think there is not much more I can do so I decided to nominate those which look too bad to AFD. If I do something wrong please be patient because it's the first time I do it. I did something wrong with Van Darkholme and now there are two entries for this bio: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2020_April_24#Van_Darkholme_2 http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2020_April_24#Van_Darkholme

I don't know how to fix it. Can you help me? thank you --AlejandroLeloirRey (talk) 15:50, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
