Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, BuryWhite. A correction is required to the Career section

This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.

Specific text to be removed: The Speakmans presented a DeLorean car to the former Liberal Member of Parliament for Rochdale, Sir Cyril Smith at his 80th birthday party in 2008.[13]
Reason for the change: This is an inaccurate statement and refers to an archived version of an inaccurate newspaper article, the live version of which has been corrected by the authorsBuryWhite (talk) 18:13, 12 October 2021 (UTC) (see below)[reply]
References supporting change: The corrected article is here https://www.rochdaleonline.co.uk/news-features/2/news-headlines/9569/sir-cyril-smith-80th-birthday-party it is now accurate, no reference is made to the Speakmans and the presentation of a car, hence the request to remove the offending statement.
