Wiki novels project

[edit]

Hello there! I'm replying to your invitation to work on the Wiki novels project. I would love to help, but right now I'm dealing with some medical issues and I'm having to cut back on nonessential things. I haven't been able to do much on here lately and I'm not sure I totally got the hang of things anyway. Still, I would love to help in the future if you still want me :) I am so happy that someone is picking this up, I really think it needs more attention on Wikipedia, so thank you for doing this! Comment

[edit]

Hello, I have noticed that you have just recently become active as a Wikipedia editor. In this edit, you did many changes that are not in conformity with WP:WTA. Please keep that Wikipedia guideline in mind when making future edits. Thanks, Toccata quarta (talk) 07:39, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Would you please say something about what is OR and not in talk:Concerto for solo piano? Thanks Jim1138 (talk) 09:35, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thanks. Bubka42 (talk) 09:48, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited History of FC Bayern Munich, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chelsea (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

CSD declined

[edit]

I have declined your CSD on SIMAD University because it does not apply to educational institutions - it's clearly stated on the template. If you still feel this article should be deleted, please take it to WP:AfD. That said, with only 66 edits to article space, I don't think you are ready for this kind of work. Please read WP:Deletion, and WP:NPP, and if you need any help don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:17, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I put it on Speedydelete because it was created for a second time hours after a speedydelete, without putting it on WP:AfC first, and without a single reference. I feel like that's a strong enough case (though I did not check out all the specific nuances of the db-inc tag, I admit, so I must have missed out on the educational institutions clause.) And I'm new to this, yes, and eager for tips from more experienced people, so feel free to throw as many as you can. I also try being careful not to screw up too badly. :-) Bubka42 (talk) 03:54, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Haridev

[edit]

I don't understand why you moved Haridev after speedy deletion was rejected. Chaipau (talk) 11:06, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As per our discussion here? It's better for you to complete working on the page and then put it on the article space. Bubka42 (talk) 11:12, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

AAP-IAC edit war

[edit]

Dear Bubka-da,

  • Thanks for your kind words and brotherly advice. [duly noted).
  • Insofar as the IAC article goes its rated "High Importance" by WP-India whereas AAP's is rated at "Mid Importance". I'm sure all the refs I added to IAC will hold up once the "authenticity" of the IAC website as WP:ELOFFICIAL is confirmed (the WHOIS record does that adequately), and thereafter its simply a matter of judiciously using quotes ("") as suggested by you and keeping WP:UNDUE, WP:SOAP in mind.
  • Insofar as AAP goes, a Deletionist would hardly find anything in that article worth saving. AcorruptionfreeIndia (talk) 08:12, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Once content has been removed as unsourced, it shouldn't be restored without a source

[edit]

That's basic policy, even if you think it would be easy to find a source. Doug Weller talk 09:27, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the edit because it looked like an unnecessary deletion of material when the citations could have been easily added. But yes, I should have added something myself. Thanks for pointing it out. Bubka42 (talk) 22:11, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
