Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 02:31, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Supercheats
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Supercheats, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Supercheats. --omtay38 18:31, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Notification of topic ban
Per community consensus, you are restricted to editing the article-, talk- and user talk-space only for three months. Furthermore, any interaction in the talk- or user talk-space must not relate to, mention, or infer mention of the vandal formerly known as "PeeWee". Users are prohibited from posting material on behalf of yourself and Gp75motorsports (talk · contribs), where it would breach the aforementioned conditions.
Futhermore, Gp75motorsports and yourself are limited to one account only. Breaches of these conditions can result in blocks, up to 48 hours for the first offence (or up to one month for using alternate accounts), and then scaling upwards for further offences at the discretion of the blocking administrator.
I have not protected your entire userspace, just your userpage, as you seem to be engaged in some constructive editing, and I am a fuzzy-hearted person. Many other admins will be less lenient - I advise you do not step on their toes. Best wishes, ~ Riana ⁂ 01:14, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

(undent)But I can still report users via AIV, UAA, and SSP, categories, templates, and upload images, right? —BoL 00:03, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Categories and templates are clearly out of the question here since they're not user talk, article, or talk pages. Leniency will be granted for appropriate reports of vandals to AIV or UAA. However, I think that suspected sockpuppets is out of the question because of your obsession with sockpuppets that we're trying to get you away from. Metros (talk) 00:46, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

- What about images that can improve an article with a fair use rationale? —BoL 00:47, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- In general, you should be focusing on content. I suspect that the omission of image/category/template from what you're allowed to edit was due to simply forgetting those (and making the mistake of thinking the three given are an exhaustive list) rather than there actually being a reason for those restrictions. —Random832 15:08, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- That's why I've been asking, I need to know whether I'm clear with images so I can use fair use images to improve some articles, I mean, because of the recent changes on this article company, they needed a new map. I've been trying to draw one, but, yeah, even with Inkscape I still suck so why not upload one from the site and fair use it? Right? Then, out of nowhere, I get a topic ban. I even ask Metros about the images, he never responded. So, yeah, thanks for the help, but would I be allowed to make edits that improve Wikipedia if they are out of my way? —BoL 22:21, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Etiwanda High School Drama
A tag has been placed on Etiwanda High School Drama requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- pb30<talk> 04:27, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion tags
Hi Blow of Light. Could you please take some time to consider properly your edits when using Twinkle to tag articles for speedy deletion. You tagged Shelly limestone as {{db-bio}}, however the article is not about a person but a type of rock. This would have been clear if you had read the article. Automated tools like Twinkle are great (I use it myself) but edits made using them should be as carefully considered as any other edit. Thanks, Mattinbgn\talk 05:08, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- I thought that was a person there. Oh well, I'll try, but sometimes I make mistakes when tagging pages with {{db}} tags. —BoL 05:16, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Sigh...
In the future, you might want to stay away from speedy deletions, too. Aside from the Shelly limestone tag you placed (which was obviously wrong if you had bothered to read the article), you removed a speedy tag from List of contemporary and crossover bass-baritones. The only people who should be doing that, aside from instances of obvious vandalism, are administrators. Speedy deletion is clearly something you haven't quite gotten the hang of, so maybe (probably?) you should just focus on adding content or copyediting for now. AniMate 05:59, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- Wait, you can only remove {{db}} tags if you plan to improve an article or if you withdraw, right? —BoL 00:30, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- You can remove tags that you have placed, but you removed a speedy tag placed by User:Dethme0w. To improve an article that's been speedied, place the {{hangon}} tag and let an admin sort things out. AniMate 00:44, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Re: Coordinates
I used Google Earth. Cheers. Trance addict 00:58, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Ah. That's an interesting service there. You hear about Mapjack, right? It's kind of like Google Street View, except it has more coverage and doesn't lag like Google Street View. —BoL 00:59, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yea, although I've only used it once or twice along with Google Street View. As a side comment, adding coordinates to Wikipedia articles seems to allow Google to 'locate' the article on Google Earth. On Google Earth, links to Wikipedia appear as a purple dot (from afar) and as the Wikipedia logo when you zoom in. For example, I started the Clark Mountain (California) article not too long ago and now a purple dot appears on Clark Mountain when you zoom in on GE. Download and/or open GE to see this. As for the Caltrain station and San Francisco skyscraper articles, expect these purple links to appear on GE by March. Cheers. Trance addict 04:12, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh that's pretty cool. I have Google Earth myself. —BoL 04:33, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

- I also notice some of these purple links are located in the wrong place. It seems like Google Earth locates 'point articles', such as skyscraper, lakes, mountain peaks, mountain passes, accurately when the 'point article' contains coordinates. However, for path / line type articles, such as streets, creeks, rivers, bridges, it appears as though Google has some difficulty pinpointing the location of the purple link. Local examples include Colma Creek, which appears in a housing division nowhere near the actual creek on GE and California Street (San Francisco), which appears right next to the Market Street (San Francisco)]] link (near the Civic Center area). Perhaps we should correct this by adding the correct coordinates to the Cal Street article, but where; Van Ness and California, Montgomery and California? Cheers. editing
Thank you for your comments on my page. I've been told before not to chat, but to edit, and I've been trying. But even though I've been here a while, I still am told I'm doing something wrong. I'm really, really trying not to, even though I seem to. I would really be grateful if you could help me understand what I'm doing wrong, and help me to better understand and corect it. I really don't want to be kicked out.... Thank you, *Lover of the sand (talk) 01:48, 28 January 2008 (UTC)*

It's horrible, but if you do want to help, look through my monobook, copy everything to your monobook, (trust me, I don't have any worms there). Anyway, after you're done, press CTRL + F5, and after you're done, you'll see some extra buttons and a new pages box. Click enable this box, then you'll see a bunch of new pages. After you see a bunch of new pages, put them in tabs using your center button (Firefox only! Get it now!). From there, you have two choices. You can either improve the article, or press csd and choose A7. If you need help, come back here. Good luck. —BoL 01:52, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Polk Street
An editor has nominated Polk Street, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Polk Street and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:14, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
