- Hi Blackandgoldtruthbetold. When another editor adds a template such as {{Notability}} to an article, it is usually because they have genuine good-faith concerns that the subject may not statisfy Wikipedia's relevant notability guidelines. Ringbang is a pretty experienced editor so they probably were just randomly tagging articles on a whim. I also have similar concerns about Riley's Wikipedia notability since most of the cited sources seem to be primary sources which do not help show notability. The tag is only meant to alert other editors that there may be a problem which needs some attention; it does not necessarily mean the article is in immediate danger of being deleted. So, if you want to discuss Riley's notability and the reasons why Ringbang added the template, they feel free to do so at Talk:Kurt Riley. If you are able to provide more citations to independent reliable sources which show that Riley meets the requirements of WP:MUSICBIO, then please do so and then remove the template. Simply removing the template without addressing the issue at hand or at least explaining why it is not an issue at all is not really helpful and will almost always lead to the template being re-added. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:24, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
