Please, please

[edit]

Please, do not publish duplicate requests like you are doing almost every day at Template talk:2019–20 coronavirus pandemic data. We read your requests even if you don't publish them twice. We are volunteers (WP:VOLUNTEER) and this just adds more stress on everyone. Thank you. --MarioGom (talk) 22:15, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding autoconfirmed status

[edit]

I know I have brought this up twice with you now, but I would like to remind you one last time: edit protection levels on the coronavirus template have dropped to semi-protected status. Therefore, you are now able to edit the template directly without having to add topics to the template's talk page. Cheers, u|RayDeeUx (contribs | talk page) 15:51, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COVID-19 cases in France

[edit]

Hi BlackSun2104: Please, do not update France cases from JHU or Worldometer. Their figures are wrong, as discussed in the talk page. You can read more about it here: Wikipedia:WikiProject COVID-19/Case Count Task Force § Common errors and Template talk:2019–20 coronavirus pandemic data/Archive 11 § France figures, nusing homes included. If you have any doubt, feel free to ask. Best, --MarioGom (talk) 19:39, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

BlackSun2104: Nursing homes are already included. If you do not agree, please, use the talk page: Template talk:2019–20 coronavirus pandemic data. --MarioGom (talk) 19:49, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COVID-19 worldwide cases

[edit]

If you want to change world cases in the Template:COVID-19 pandemic data, you can simply go to Template:Cases in the COVID-19 pandemic and change the confirmed, deaths and recovered values. SMB99thx Email! 08:12, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Discuss major changes to the template first

[edit]

There is a joint effort to update it, and there is a current consensus. You are free to update the figures according to current system, but any deviation has to be discussed. KittenKlub (talk) 06:16, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Don't replace templates with static figures

[edit]

This edit is creating a lot of work to clean up. Please see WP:FENCE — if you don't know what the template does, don't mess with it; and if you do, you should know to update the template, not replace it. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 08:36, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
