Maxmoefoe page

[edit]

Hey, I just made a page for YouTuber maxmoefoe on my sandbox but I seem to be having trouble submitting it. I can’t see the problem, but every time I go to submit it says there’s an error. Since you are Wikipedia veteran, could you possibly read through it and see if there’s any issues, that would possibly compromise. Thanks. Ducktech89 (talk) 13:34, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please help add sources next time instead of removing them, thanks. Tray Framework (talk) 20:12, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please stop undoing my edits to 2020 Democratic Party presidential debates and forums. Citing Google Trends in order to determine who won the June 26 debate is NOT vandalism. 207.233.45.12 (talk) 18:46, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

...where you wrote "take it to the talk page, a lot of those are easily sourced". Guess what, I did take it to the talk page at Talk:List of United States presidential firsts#Sourced content please. All those statements had been sitting there for at least two weeks (actually more than two weeks) without any references or editing. Now some of those statements have them thanks to your sourcing which is awesome. Plus "easily sourced"? Perhaps so, but I can't fix every. single. issue. I come across on WP so sometimes I place maintenance tags on an article in the hopes that other editors who have the time can then fix the problem. This List habitually attracts unsourced claims & POV statements & specious trivia all the time and is also a refuge for spurts of vandalizing, I think these men (so far they're all men...) deserve at least verifiable facts. Glad you agree. Shearonink (talk) 14:21, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unusual deaths and animals

[edit]

Hello Bkatcher,

I added the death of a cow in 1932 to the unusual deaths list, but you removed it. I'm confused, because there are two elephants in the list, giving the conclusion more animals deaths can be included, also, the death of Cachy the Poodle in the list is also remembered. Could you give me a conclusion? Greetings.--Cientific124 (talk) 21:44, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Is this vandalism?

[edit]

[1] Of course she was not already on this list, I wouldn't have added her if that had been the case. Shall I assume good faith? --Edelseider (talk) 06:38, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted my edits on Ten-code. You can easily google 10-42 and see that it is a nationwide retirement code. I only used two reliable sources but there are many. I did not want to start an entire article on this because it will only get merged into Ten-code anyway. Lightburst (talk) 01:39, 21 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

why did you remove

[edit]

hello, im alex, on the disneyland list of incidents you removed my text about were deborah stone is buried because it was not scourced, if you look her up on find a grave she is actually burred there — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dernoncourt8 (talkcontribs) 10:41, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Where she is buried is not particularly important. It's not information that's generally included in articles like this, as it's irrelevant. Bkatcher (talk) 19:11, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tracy Garcia's death

[edit]

Hi Bkatcher,

Re: List of unusual deaths / Revert. The thing that made Tracy Garcia's death unusual is it was a pack of Dachshunds. They average 8 inches tall and weigh 16 pounds.

Jeffrey Walton (talk) 04:18, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

But there were six of them. It's not a matter of how small they are, but how vicious. Nonetheless, if you want to revert my revert, I won't argue. Bkatcher (talk) 05:23, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Joke Entry"

it was not a joke entry, what are you talking about? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2804:54:19C5:E901:6081:947:834:5656 (talk) 14:22, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Because you linked to non-missing films and actors who certainly weren't in them.Bkatcher (talk) 14:34, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

no, it's a real movie, it had those actors and it is lost. Why are you so against these movies! This is a witch hunt! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2804:54:19C5:E901:6081:947:834:5656 (talk) 14:37, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Re: "Speculation"

[edit]

How is this any more speculative than the two paragraphs above it, which detail similar hypotheticals about Biden and Trump running again? BD2412 T 06:25, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's not. Those above paragraphs should probably be removed. Bkatcher (talk) 22:03, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnocentrism

[edit]

Rather than completing my edit to the olympic gold medal table for multiple developing nations you reverted it to the incomplete count - how is that helping anyone?

Re: Your undoing

[edit]

Yeah, to clarify, I'm watching the events live and I update them as medals come in for each event. The medal tables are accurate as of that time. And in some events, the bronze medal is handed out quite some time before the gold/silver. Lucky102 (talk) 00:46, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Revert by mistake and re-revert

[edit]

I mistakenly reverted your recent edit at All-time Olympic Games medal table and then immediately undid that reversion. I then performed my intended edit, which was to revert unexplained changes by another editor to France's pre-2020 medal totals. Jeff in CA (talk) 23:35, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Why you move my edit ? Stevencocoboy (talk) 03:13, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's a rather major change to the format, and information that's already on the main chart. I think this warrants discussion, see what the majority thinks. Bkatcher (talk) 03:13, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to have a disagreement with me

[edit]

I noticed this edit you made here: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User_talk:Renewal6#Surviving_Veterans_of_World_War_II. If you have a dispute with me please bring it to my talk page, making derogatory remarks about other users behind their backs is very poor behavior. Dronebogus (talk) 17:13, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a public forum. You have no right to use it to idly complain about other users. If you have a genuine dispute over my actions then there are places you can take it in order to resolve it in a civil manner, i.e. admins noticeboard, dispute resolution, my talk page. It is not childish tattling to report someone violating the basic behavioral standards of this website. Dronebogus (talk) 18:24, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am automatically notified whenever someone mentions me in a discussion. If you think you can get away with abusive language by only telling it to someone else you’re sadly mistaken. Dronebogus (talk) 18:29, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you consider 'jerk' abusive language, then I sincerely apologize. Personally, I get worse when driving, but to each his own triggers. I guess you have to decide, are you the kind of person who can let something go? Bkatcher (talk) 18:46, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • I’m not offended by the word itself; I’m offended by the fact that you were rudely complaining to some random user about me, and I’m curious as to why you thought it was appropriate behavior in the first place, and why you were so sympathetic to a disruption-only account and possible sockpuppet. Dronebogus (talk) 19:16, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • You ever feel like ranting to someone when you're upset or frustrated? Especially someone who likely feels the same way? I've worked on some of those articles for over fifteen years and they were taken away in a week. Looking back on the various AFD discussions, you accused people of having a personal vendetta/agenda against you no fewer than six times. Disagreeing with you, even if their reasoning in error, is not a personal attack. I'm asking you, as a fellow editor, a fellow wikipedian, and an intelligent person, to agree to disagree, virtually shake hands, and let the matter drop. Bkatcher (talk) 19:21, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Alright then. Dronebogus (talk) 19:22, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Canvassing warning

[edit]

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you.
