You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jennie V. Cannon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. –Compassionate727 (T·C) 12:39, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My IP address is not an open proxy, requesting unblock

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Minna Sora no Shita (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. I'm accessing Wikipedia from home, and I am not using some proxy service at the moment. I don't know what happened, but I may have made changes to the network that is recognizing my IP address as a proxy server. The IP address, 50.106.25.168, is tied to my house, and occasionally I remote access my home computer away from home. My ISP is Frontier Communications. --みんな空の下 (トーク) 07:52, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I have verified this IP address is running a server on port 4567. Combined with the block for being a proxy server and the evidence given below that this appears to be an open proxy, I'm afraid I can't lift the block at this time. If you are able to close all ports on this IP address, please file another unblock and someone will be happy to investigate. Yamla (talk) 13:26, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This blocked user is asking that his block be reviewed on the Unblock Ticket Request System:

--UTRSBot (talk) 07:59, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Googling won't help. You can run anything you wish on port 4567. --Yamla (talk) 17:51, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I'm filing another unblock request for the IP address in question once again. ----みんな空の下 (トーク) 06:13, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Username is not blocked, but this is a request for IP address 50.106.25.168 to be unblocked once again. whatismyipaddress(dot)com now tells us the IP address is a network sharing device ([1]). However, I'm not sure if the IP address can be unblocked because that page says "network sharing device or proxy server," so I'd like an admin to investigate and decide if the IP address can be unblocked. --みんな空の下 (トーク) 06:13, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It is not technically possible to unblock a single IP address while the whole range is blocked. Your can only ask for WP:IPBE, but you would need to demonstrate genuine and exceptional need. I recommend just not using proxys. Vanjagenije (talk) 13:29, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Music Station title.PNG

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Music Station title.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Secret ayupan.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the image description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. xplicit 06:11, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:CENTRAIR logo.PNG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
