A tag has been placed on River Duag, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. De728631 (talk) 15:54, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've declined this speedy deletion as it seems clear to me that this is indeed an article about an Irish river. However it really needs further info such as where it rises and discharges, size and and tributaries of note. WereSpielChequers 16:15, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Sarsfield Grenadier Guards
[edit]Hey, I note you created this article - I've expanded it and sent it to WP:DYK. Hope you're happy with the changes :). Ironholds (talk) 10:16, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
The article Cormac III of Munster has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Cormac Mac Carthaigh is for the same person
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DinDraithou (talk) 23:14, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
- Nevermind! I have saved a couple of your sources and redirected Cormac III of Munster to the already much larger Cormac Mac Carthaigh. Cheers. DinDraithou (talk) 23:20, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
