about Filardis

[edit]

Thanks for your contributing, including in some articles I apparently created long ago. Could you possibly please comment at old discussion at Talk:Filardi House about Carmelo Filardi's relationship to Filardi House, related to your assertion in this diff at Carmelo Filardi article. I believe u, u are stating what I asserted (without real knowledge) a long time ago. It would be great if you could explain how you know Carmelo and family of the house are related, especially great if you could state a source (offline source would be fine) that could be cited in the article(s). Either way, thanks, cheers, --Doncram (talk) 21:41, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a death certificate for supporting evidence - on the death certificate you can see Carmelo's dad is listed as Vincente Filardi. I also added a US Census record from 1920 which shows Carmelo as part of the house. Lastly, I added a death certificate of Vincente Filardi, which reconfirms Italian origins, profession and marriage to Maria Cantisani, which was Carmelo's mother. In terms of my relation - it's distant, perhaps a few degrees of separation, but I've done significant research on the family and have many documents and supporting evidence. --unsigned statement by BackpackingAndy on 7 August 2020
Thanks for replying here at least and for citing the death certificate, which would be verifiable by others. --Doncram (talk) 09:08, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
