A note from User:Its snowing in East Asia

I quit due to the online problems I had as an 'named user'. I hate on-line span/pop ups. I was an I.P. number since 2008. I have actuly not quit, but reverted back to being an I.P. and will stay an I.P.! I am active on the 2010 Sahel famine and 2000s commodities boom. Comment at ITN/C

You made a comment in the section about the fires in Bolivia at ITN/C saying thta there were fires raging other places. I've a few questions before I create. Are they at the same scale as the Bolivia ones? Do they destroy any large amount of plant matter or affect the environment in a particularly major fashion?
