User talk:Ashraf85~enwiki
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. -- Chris 73 | Talk 10:15, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Regarding the words of Ibn Qayim
[edit]Ahlan wa sahlan. We have a discussion regarding the correct translation and the actual meaning of something written by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya. We might need an opinion from some native arabic speakers in order to reach consensus. If this caught your interest, feel free to join our discussion at Talk:Hadith of Sabra reporting on the prohibition of Mut'ah. Thank you. Hamid-Masri 11:42, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello, can you confirm that Mehfil is originally an Arabic word, and, if so, can you add the Arabic spelling there? Do you know (from your dictionary, etc.) if this word came into Arabic from Persian? Thank you for your expertise. Badagnani 18:22, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello, could you please add the Arabic at Ahaat? And could you check to make sure I have the definition correct? Many thanks, Badagnani 19:46, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Ashraf85. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Ashraf85~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
