Thanks for uploading File:GracilianoRamos.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Silent Hill 2, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Hi. When you recently edited Canção do exílio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Epigraph (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Hi, thanks for your work in translating articles into en.WP (I presume some are translations). Please note that at en.WP, dates and years are not wikilinked unless there's a good reason to do so. Tony(talk)02:49, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello, Anonymous from the 21st century. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Smack (Brazilian band), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Thanks for uploading File:Amebix Make Some Fucking Noise.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Phil, It appears to be a case of multiple accounts, see here—half a dozen accounts with nigh identical usernames made almost the same disruptive edit to Godzilla (2014 film), each within minutes of the last. The others all appear to be throwaway accounts, but I'd struggle to believe there was no connection. I think I just blocked all the account en masse, so I hadn't realised Anonymous from the 21st century was an established editor or I might not have blocked indefinitely. It's quite possible that another user created all of the other "anonymous" accounts as a Joe Job. Seems unlikely to me that an established editor would engage in such obvious socking like that. The only recent edits AFT21 made were noncontroversial copyedits. I'm going to unblock pending a CU (if that's even necessary). OhNoitsJamieTalk14:14, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate all your work on the various Edgar Allan Poe-related articles you've been editing lately. But, can I ask a small favor? Thanks for uploading File:Ciro Pessoa 2010.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:27, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, it seems you have an interest in the proper placement of punctuation with regards to quotations. At least one of your edits at Slaughterhouse-Five suggests to me that you may not be aware of some of the specifics found at MOS:LQ. Essentially, if the quoted portion is a complete sentence, then the punctuation belongs within the quotation marks. This is considered to be the style here, regardless of regional preferences, which is indeed different than some MOS rules when it comes to regional differences.
Also, I will join the chorus of users above who would politely request that you include an edit summary for your edits. It doesn't need to be much; most of your edits that have shown up on my watchlist would be well-described by simply including "c/e" or "ce" (short for copyedit) in the edit summary. Thanks! Antepenultimate (talk) 01:41, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
A page you started (Songs of Good Taste) has been reviewed!
I see you like to use M-dashes but you are using them incorrectly. According to our manual of style about this MOS:MDASH either use them without spaces on either side of them or use N-dashes. Also be consistent in the same article. Since use of M-dash is rare, most articles use N-dashes so should probably stick with that. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:00, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ao Vivo no Mosh until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Ad Orientem (talk) 13:48, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
Thanks for uploading File:Root Madness of the Graves.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Please do not "fix" links to redirects that are not broken. It is perfectly find to using redirects to link to other articles and there is no good reason to pipe links solely to avoid redirects. —Farix (t | c) 21:43, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You are still doing this over two years later.[1] Please read the guideline linked for you in the heading of this section and cease doing this. That part of your edit has been reverted by a different editor. ―Mandruss☎13:58, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm here to say the same thing. This is disruptive, especially when you've already been reverted for making purely cosmetic updates. czar21:56, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
My bad on the three L's. I was fixing typos as part of the spelling patrol, and I guess I got carried away. I see you already fixed Armando Teixeira's page. I put it back on the page Spartak!. Do you know if the one on List of Peel sessions is supposed to have three "l"s?
I will also add it, with three "l"s, to the disambiguation page for Bullet. As a description, do you think
I saw your edits to the article page of Pantaleon Alvarez, even though it contradicts all the published articles in the news.
Please don't edit articles and add accents to them simply because you think they are pronounced with accents.
I'll watch your page and request to block you if I see more vandalism in the future. Gilligan gomers (talk) 08:46, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you for your contributions. However, articles you created such as Skylab V are problematic due to the fact that there is only one independent source, with the others being primary sources from the artist's own website. Per WP:NALBUMS, notability is not inherent just because an artist is notable - you must provide 3rd party sources discussing the album to show its notability. Having at least 3 independent sources would be considered sufficient, with perhaps even two in-depth sources being enough. In any case I can tell you worked hard on these articles and I appreciate that, and if you can find more sources for the articles they would be great and wouldn't need to be given ugly templates. Does this make sense? Sometimes I have a tendency to ramble lol. Well, please do find more sources, and I would then be happy to go through and review all the Skylab articles. Cheers! --‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalenciaᐐT₳LKᐬ16:37, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I recommend redirecting all these Skylab related pages to the main article about the artist Rogério Skylab. These independent album articles do not have the sources available to be stand alone articles per WP:N and WP:NALBUM. Redirecting is an alternative to deletion and proposing for deletion per WP:ATD-R. This would be a good way to wait until reliable sources become available to add to these articles and then bring the qualified articles back to the main space. Thanks. ---Steve Quinn (talk) 02:49, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Steve Quinn: - if this editor fails to respond to our notability and source concerns soon, it would certainly make sense for you to redirect these articles to the artist's page, and I would endorse such action assuming the sources fail to be improved. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalenciaᐐT₳LKᐬ14:28, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rumen Petkov, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Duga (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:21, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I wanted to let you know I redirected Psywar (Mayhem song) to the page Psywar (song) because it had an unecessary diambuiguition. The information you added is still there in that article, although I am adding more with reliable sources, because I noticed it only had one. Cheers! ~SML • TP18:02, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Alabama, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Be sure to follow MOS:SERIAL with future edits.-Fnlayson (talk) 18:51, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary.

Anonymous from the 21st century Is there some reason you are refusing to use edit summaries despite having been notified about it many times on this talk page? It is problematic for other editors. You have managed to use your talk page to request an unblock so I don't think understanding its use is the issue. —DIYeditor (talk) 23:16, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. It appears your talk page is becoming quite lengthy and is in need of archiving. According to Wikipedia's user talk page guidelines; "Large talk pages become difficult to read, strain the limits of older browsers, and load slowly over slow internet connections. As a rule of thumb, archive closed discussions when a talk page exceeds 75 KB or has multiple resolved or stale discussions." - this talk page is 105.9 KB. See Help:Archiving a talk page for instructions on how to manually archive your talk page, or to arrange for automatic archiving using a bot. If you have any questions, place a {{help me}} notice on your talk page, or go to the help desk. Thank you. Geolodus (talk) 16:59, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Sdkb. I noticed that you recently removed content from COVID-19 pandemic without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you for this new article, but more evidence is needed that this band has achieved its own notability beyond its predecessor bands. Most of the sources currently in the article are about other entities like Charlie Brown Jr. and Champignon.
