Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Ann Premazon. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Creative Health Care Management, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 21:28, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Creative Health Care Management is a Minnesota company. I am not their employee. I was asked to help them change their name so I did. I am learning about wikipedia and enjoy helping others. Ann Premazon (talk) 22:32, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you are editing a page on behalf of a company, regardless of whether you are being paid, you have a conflict of interest. Please read through the information provided above (including the associated links!) and edit accordingly.-- Ponyobons mots 22:52, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Draft:La Hacienda Treatment Center, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Ann Premazon, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Ann Premazon|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 12:22, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am not a paid employee of this company. After celebrating their 50 year anniversary, a timeline was put together and several people worked on gathering source material to put together a page on wikipedia. I put the completed works in a page as this is my first time doing a wiki page - I hoped to meet all guidelines. I have no financial stake in this page. I checked all sources and if there is anything else that needs to be changed please let me know. Ann Premazon (talk) 22:28, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is not interested in publishing marketing material that a company has written about itself, only what reliable sources completely independent of the subject have written about the company. Please read WP:ORG.-- Ponyobons mots 22:56, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
