Hi, Alfons Åberg. I see that you ended up in an edit war with an IP at Red-Green Alliance (Denmark). I want to advise you against repeatedly reverting edits in this way, since edit warring in against Wikipedia policy. In this case, it can be justified because the anonymous editor was adding unsourced negative information about a living person. But in the future, you should always report such infractions to biographies of living persons noticeboard so that administrators can block the offenders. Thanks. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 22:30, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hej Alfons Åberg. Thank you for your message. Actually, in such cases it is better to report the problem - which I did, and which resulted in the IP being blocked for the next 24 hours. He might come back from another IP, so please keep an eye on the article, nd I will try to do so. Keep up the good work. Cheers Bertilvidet 22:37, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited History of Mahdist Sudan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rial. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Map of the Kingdom of Chalcis
[edit]Hi. I've just written to Machaerus, the "author" of the Dutch page, too. You have translated his Dutch article, but he has not indicated where he has taken his material from. The map cannot be right. If that's the map of the Kingdom of Chalcis, then why is Chalcis (Chalkis) marked NORTH of it, both the city and the region? Maybe you can help out with Machaerus, if he prefers Dutch, or can fix the map or otherwise help with clarifying the issue. Thanks! Arminden (talk) 16:59, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
