- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, JarrahTree 08:37, 20 December 2023 (UTC)

- Thank you for noticing my contributions! As of now, I'm currently working preferably on fixing Bare URLs as a starting point, but it feels nice to be included to this community! When the oppurtunity grants itself, I'll help out in other ways! :)
- This is also my first message in terms of Wikipedia talk pages, so that's a nice experience to finally have!

- It can be very daunting at the first instance... I have added a more detailed welcome template that should help... JarrahTree 08:34, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
Minor means minor
[edit]See WP:MINOR for when to tag your edits as minor. David notMD (talk) 17:38, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- Alright. I kind of had an idea, since I've visited that help page before, but sometimes its harder to determine if my edits are minor ones. I still try to make the best judgement based on the help page and what I did though.

Flourine article history
[edit]Hi - just a heads-up that this edit did produce a visible result, by incorrectly removing the page from Category:Featured articles that have appeared on the main page twice. I've requested that maindate1
be created as an alias for maindate
in {{article history}}, but in the meantime I've reverted the change. — Voice of Clam (talk) 07:58, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks for telling me this. I’ll be aware of this for future edits. — Alex26337 (talk) 14:12, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!

Society is now a GA. Congrats to you. You share this barnstar with your co-nominator; a very impressive bit of work from both of you. Thanks for what you have added to Wikipedia. —Ganesha811 (talk) 21:27, 31 January 2024 (UTC) |
- I would also note that you may be eligible to pick up a reward at the Reward Board, so feel free to swing that way! —Ganesha811 (talk) 21:30, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for this barnstar! (This is technically my first barnstar, so I do feel proud about it!) — Alex26337 (talk) 18:08, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
A Barnstar for you!
