Hey man
[edit]Can you check my attributions? pics have reference with resharing policies that allow reuse Consuls.feints (talk) 04:06, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for reaching out, But the images don't have a declaration that the copyright owner is releasing them under a free license (you also marked them with CC0, a public domain equivalent license) for everyone to use. A facebook post from a corporate account saying "reuse allowed" isn't enough. If you are not the copyright owner, then sending an email with proof of permission to VRT is requred. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to reach out. All the Best -- Chuck Talk 04:12, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi thanks for the reply. How about the news article with resharing policy on their website? 2001:44C8:4050:197A:C13A:5D25:7577:B5F7 (talk) 04:14, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

- Sorry, please answer the previous question Consuls.feints (talk) 04:43, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Unless the policy explicitly says that it is released under a creative commons attribution share alike license (or less restrictive!) it cannot be used. All the Best -- Chuck Talk 05:03, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

Administrators' newsletter – January 2025
[edit]News and updates for administrators from the past month (December 2024).
- Following an RFC, Wikipedia:Notability (species) was adopted as a subject-specific notability guideline.
- A request for comment is open to discuss whether admins should be advised to warn users rather than issue no-warning blocks to those who have posted promotional content outside of article space.
- The Nuke feature also now provides links to the userpage of the user whose pages were deleted, and to the pages which were not selected for deletion, after page deletions are queued. This enables easier follow-up admin-actions.
- Following the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections, the following editors have been elected to the Arbitration Committee: CaptainEek, Daniel, Elli, KrakatoaKatie, Liz, Primefac, ScottishFinnishRadish, Theleekycauldron, Worm That Turned.
- A New Pages Patrol backlog drive is happening in January 2025 to reduce the number of unreviewed articles and redirects in the new pages feed. Sign up here to participate!

1953 Merano Grand Prix never happened.
[edit]There were none Grand Prix races in Merano. 1953 was a sport car race won by Fangio in 6C 3000 Spider. Xampredotto (talk) 21:50, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
- I thought I nominated that . Oops. All the Best -- Chuck Talk 21:56, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
